Hey, give Uncle-J a break....he’s had three brain operations, so you don’t want to upset that brain too much.....it might ‘splode.
The general public doesn’t vote. Conservatives take her seriously. Pandering to “the general public” is always a mistake. That said, you seem to have a lot of fun irritating conservatives with your condescending comments. I think those windmills and solar panels in your yard are confusing your orbitational brain sequences. Better throw the fam in the Prius and get to the country for a deep breath of fresh air.
I was never taught anything bad about Roosevelt’s socialist agenda, and that was in the 60’s. We need to re-write these textbooks NOW. Mark Levin would write a mean textbook.
I don’t have time to peruse every single thing she’s every said, but I sure as heck know what she would do as President.
You must be asking for flames.
It going to make for great debate in 2012!
I don’t believe in having political messiahs, and there appears to be a tendency to elevate Gov. Palin to that kind of icon status. It’s visible in those who consider everything she does as a superlative, and who brook no criticism of her in any form.
I’m perfectly content with her, or anyone, who is willing to be a good, solid, consistent conservative. That speaks far more to me than any fawning worship.
No, I really don't, and neither do you. She resigned over the only real stress she ever faced as governor. That's just like voting "present," except in a more public way.
Are you really willing to take a chance on her, given what's almost certain to face the next president?
That’s MY president...Madame President
I know that she drilled in Alaska.
I know that she put in a major pipeline.
I know that they set up wind farms and solar heating stations.
I know she chose not to have an abortion.
I know she has kept on supporting her family in less than perfect situations.
And I know that jerks kept starting costly litigation against her using state dollars just for fishing expeditions.
And if you haven't had a baby come out of your tummy, I would shut the heck up about stress.
All very sweet, I'm sure ... but she resigned when things got tough for her as governor. Golly.... Maybe that's not the sort of precedent we want to set when dealing with the imperialist aims of China and Russia; and the nuclear aims of Iran.
Why don't you get serious?
She left the job knowing exactly who would be filling the seat, having trained up a replacement and ensuring that the work would go on. That is what a leader does, train up a replacement and then get off the scene.
Or do you like Obama’s replacement plan better?
There's your problem...It is NOT the party faithful that moved Hoffman up the ladder...It is the party UN-Faithful...
You must be under 40. After Reagan gave up the CA governorship to campaign for the GOP candidacy in 1976 (which he narrowly lost to Ford), he wrote a regular newpaper column. He was largely written off politically because of his age and his loss in 1976. None the less, he won the primary in 1980 and the rest is history.
Reagan's gone...He'll never be President again...Nobody reads newspapers columns anymore...And it wasn't the party faithful that elected Reagan...You can't use RR for the poster boy of the RNC even tho they latched onto him after his win just like they're trying to do with Hoffman...
As evidenced by her "Going Rogue" absolutely tanking before publication, and her devastating strikeout in endorsing Hoffman's failed candidacy, going against the cooler, wiser heads in her party to do so.
Cheers!
They're not intended to be a substitute. They are a Reaganesque communication with the American PeopleTM right over the heads of the MSM.
Or did you already forget the kerfuffle in the campaign when the MSM and Obama-ites spread the rumour that McCain was a senile loser because he didn't e-mail?
For leadership, look at her "Death Panel" comment -- which stalled Obamacare in its tracks; and which was also circulated on a social networking site (Facebook).
Or there's always the Hoffman endorsement.
Nice try though.
Cheers!
Yeah, but she's smokin' hot.
Cheers!
Yee-HA.
He must have tucked his thing between his legs and scurried away after she cut him to ribbons.
Keep up the good work, Sarah!
I do believe Sarah Palin is up to the task of taking on Putin and any other national security threats. Sarah Palin has displayed respect for the armed services, and she appointed a former General to the position of Lt. Governor when she left office. I believe Sarah Palin is one of the few politicians who would actually step out of the way and let our Generals do their jobs. The current Afghanistan situation offers a great contrast as to how Obama handles the military and how Sarah Palin would handle the military if elected. The Army requested more troops in Afghanistan and there is no doubt that Sarah would have honored the Army’s request. Sarah knows that she didn’t go to military academy, and she is capable of acknowledging that she is not more qualified in military strategy than trained Generals.
And she has both instinct, and the knowledge of her own weakness.
I'd take her over Putin, China, *and* Russia.
Nice try, though.
Cheers!
