And if you haven't had a baby come out of your tummy, I would shut the heck up about stress.

All very sweet, I'm sure ... but she resigned when things got tough for her as governor. Golly.... Maybe that's not the sort of precedent we want to set when dealing with the imperialist aims of China and Russia; and the nuclear aims of Iran.

Why don't you get serious?

Excuse me, I am talking about the stress. Do you have a wife? Why don't you ask her about those stress levels? Or the stress level of making the kind of decision that had to be made with her son?

She left the job knowing exactly who would be filling the seat, having trained up a replacement and ensuring that the work would go on. That is what a leader does, train up a replacement and then get off the scene.

Or do you like Obama’s replacement plan better?

She (as little more than the stereotypical "barefoot and in the kitchen housewife of liberal stereotype) got into politics and dismantled the political machine of a small, politically-inbred state.

And she has both instinct, and the knowledge of her own weakness.

I'd take her over Putin, China, *and* Russia.

Nice try, though.

Cheers!

She didn’t resign over the stress. At the time, the primary reason that I recall is that she resigned over financial ruin made likely by a new state law that permitted anyone to file a frivolous lawsuit against her. Never a rich family, I believe I remember something in the neighborhood of 2 dozen lawsuits and hundreds of thousands in lawyers’ fees.
