Why Are People Making Excuses for the Richmond [CA] Gang Rape?

The more I read about the aftermath of the horrific gang rape in Richmond, the more it becomes clear to me that this entire town is one big toilet bowl. Instead of focusing the rage on the attackers, whomever they may be, and calling for these lowlife animals to be strapped to a good old fashioned electric chair as soon as possible, I am hearing excuses.

Actually, they don’t have to, because if don’t live there and you’re not on FR, you’d never have heard of it.

At one time, Richmond, CA was home to the shipyards that built the Liberty and Victory ships that helped win WWII. After the war, the yards closed, and nothing really took their place. It’s been a cesspool ever since, my apologies to the cesspools.

Maybe the clip I saw was taken out of context. But on it a female student actually blamed the police. Though, perhaps there was mishandling by the police, such as slow response to 911 call. But it was not the police who raped the girl.

If you want to get really infuriated, search out some of the news stories quoting the perps saying they’re not really animals as the media are portraying them.

I have not seen the race of the victim defined in any of the reports. I assume (deduced) she is latino since the Justice Brothers have not shown up. Please confirm the race if you know. Can’t believe there are a lot of whites still living there given the description of the area, but who knows?

According to San Fran channel, which I can watch, as many as 20 others strolled by or stopped & watch and cheered on the perps.

They did NOT call 911.

Hard to blame the cops for that. Blame the parents—those of them who actually have parents.

A bunch of work has been done on this over at View from the Right and I think its pretty conclusive that she is white. Among the pieces of evidence pointing to this:

• The close friends who spoke up for her are all white.
• The boy who led her to the rape sight, described in news reports as 'her friend', was white.
• She is an active member in a Presbyterian Church.
• No mention of her race has been made by the media - the norm in black-on- white wilding crimes like this.

What I can’t figure out is why nobody called 911 of the bunch that was standing around. Each one of them had at least one cell phone on them. All they had to do is walk around the corner where no one would see them and call.
