NEW YORK (Reuters) - Wal-Mart Stores Inc on Monday announced its second round of price cuts on toys as the world's biggest retailer backs up its intention to be the "price leader" this holiday shopping season.
U.S. Walmart stores are cutting prices on 100 toys, like the Buzz Lightyear talking action figure and Star Wars light sabers, by roughly 20 percent to 30 percent.

Thank you Airborne,I’m at work now and might head out early. Thanks for the flowers beautiful.((((Hugs)))))
Thanks for the laugh, sadly... you made my day (ahh the "joy" of seeing our once great nation being turned into a third world hell hole because those supposedly in power are totally unwilling to protect America and it's borders from an invasion of illegal aliens.
Speaking of transformers (off topic I know), WHY. ON. EARTH. did Hollywood have to take a kids’ toy, add fantastic special effects and then enough sexual content and language that my 8 year old can’t see it? Ticks me off. And it’s Hollywood, so I’m not surprised. But it still ticks me off.
My boys have ‘graduated’ to more expensive electronic cr@p. I let Husband handle that; I do socks and underwear, food and gasoline gift cards for Christmas gifts for them...and they like it! ;)
It will get worse. One of the most extensive application of latest robotics technology is for toys. In time, these electronic cr@p will be even more expensive and elaborate.
They’re already young adults; I was talking iPods and computer junque. We never gave them electronic stuff when they were little.
That’s what GRANDPAs with deep pockets are for, LOL!
Husband bought us a Wii which is really fun, but only because he had to buy five of them for a client (retirement home day rooms) and he just increased the cost to the client a little and got ours for free. :)
It pays to know someone...LOL!
need a link on that one
