In what may be the first recorded instance of a Muslim wife attempting to murder her husband for not being pious enough, a Staten Island woman was charged this week with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon. Rabia Sarwar, a 37-year-old Muslim, said she did it because her husband, a 41-year-old Pakistani native, enjoyed booze and pork and wanted her to dress in revealing clothes. (She held fabric over her face and threw a shawl over her head before leaving court on Thursday.)
While the Sarwar case is sensational by dint of the role-reversal and the method of attempted murder (throat-slitting), it’s also pedestrian: Over the past two years, there have been about a dozen attempted or successful honor killings committed in the US.
Last week in Arizona, an Iraqi-born man tried to kill his 20-year-old daughter because she wanted out of her arranged marriage; he escaped.

The state government of Ohio is assisting the local muslims in the slow-motion murder of Rifqa Bary. She is being held prisoner with no contact to the outside world and without personal legal representation. Her crime? Converting from islam to Christianity. Anybody know when her 18th birthday is? I get the feeling that the authorities are trying to drag the case out until it becomes moot.
At 17+, she seems old enough to know where she wants to live and where she feels secure. But Islam now occupies a favored place in the US, just as it does in the UK.
Of course, if she got pregnant and wanted an abortion, all bets would be off. She would be quite capable of making THAT decision! s/o

....I think in the long run Islam is going to have trouble here...way too much temptation here for them to keep a tight rein....the week before 9/11 the hijacker cell in Laurel MD amused themselves by partying in strip clubs.

Yesterday, the Islamofascists called off a pro-Sharia “massive rally” in London supposedly because moderate Muslims convinced the leaders to cancel it but I think the real reason was a planned counter-rally by the EDL, which is gaining a following. It is very patriotic, and is NOT fascistic. Just tough soccer guys who are tired of being crapped on by foreigners.
A 61-year-old man accused of beating his brother to death in Lynnwood told Snohomish County sheriff’s detectives it was an honor killing to avenge an insulting remark.
In a police statement filed Thursday in Everett District Court, 61-year-old Mehdi M. Matin says more than 20 years ago his brother uttered words about his bride-to-be so terrible the wedding was called off. Both men are from Afghanistan.
Matin was visiting his brother Monday when he repeated the remark.
Matin told detectives he hit his brother in the head with a pipe until he was unconscious and then strangled him with a rope.
Matin is jailed on $1 million bail for investigation of second-degree murder.

A liberal friend’s wife teaches at DePaul in Chicago. A day or two after 9-11, an upset Muslim student told her that about half of the Muslim students were exchanging candy to celebrate the murder of 3,000 Americans. He spoke with a Tribune reporter who said that they had received similar reports from other people.
They hate us, but they want to take over the country, and it’s happening. The leftist liberals just made a radical muslim our president.

She turns 18 in August. The authorities are NOT trying to drag this out. They are assisting the local terrorists in enforcing sharia law (ie, death for apostates). The state is even treating Rifqa like an apostate under sharia. She is being held incommunicado. No phone. No internet. No friends. No personal lawyer.
