The Cubans also arrange “suicides”
They threw an athletic trainer from the dorm roof of Pan American Games in Cali (1971)
The word was that he was helping Cuban athletes defect. The body was taken to a Canadian medical clinic in nearby dorm and doctors there examined the body before releasing it to Cubans said he had been beaten and dead before the fall. The Cubans lost a bunch of athletes that year although they had them well guarded.

I never had any doubt of this being a murder. If one were going to commit suicide, there are much more pleasant ways to go than falling down 17 flights of stairs.
