America, where is your character, your pluck, your grit? If that question seems overly harsh and needlessly aggressive, then you are staring directly at the problem. This nation sits at the precipice of a fundamental, irreversible transformation that will make all too visible a new country that is incontrovertibly “one nation under a spineless, politically correct, brow-beaten, emasculated bunch of sheep.” Is that too harsh? If you believe my words are too offensive, that I should tone it down, possibly give contemplation to all opposing views from every potential angle, if not every position within the cosmos, then, you’re actually staring at the real problem.

The leftists that have been working to destroy America as we know it have used the PC meme to emasculate the ordinary American by convincing him/her to believe that their instincts are somehow 'wrong' and that criticizing or even questioning the political ideology of anyone of a race or religion other than white and Christian is akin to vicious, racist bigotry.
This is partly how we ended up with a Barack Obama, Rahm Emanuel, Valerie Jarrett, David Alexrod, et al in the White House and a Democrat voting majority in congress. Well, that and a pitifully weak Republican candidate that had a long record of opposing his own party on major issues and was an indifferent campaigner with a weak message that paled against the 24/7 media celebration of Obama, conferring celebrity status on a politician with a murky background and virtually no accomplishments of record, other than getting elected to office in a 'blue' state.
The endlessly repeated mantra about the election of a mixed-race president - Barack Hussein Obama - being 'historic' impressed a lot of folks who decided to ignore his lack of a resume, his very questionable associations and his signals about 'reshaping' the country we know and love.
The left has done a yeoman's job to 'dumb down' the public schools, distract us with relentlessly hedonist 'entertainment' (via TV, film, the internet) and foster an 'entitlement mentality' in as many Americans as possible. Thus, the apathetic and easily persuaded citizenry is readily accepting of politicians promises of 'free' this-and-that and the manufactured cult of 'celebrity' Obama and his handlers have carefully nurtured, knowing that Americans love 'celebrities'. If anyone doubts this just look at the popularity of Paris Hilton, a vapid young woman with only average looks and no achievements other than her 'celebrity'. This person of absolutely no consequence is constantly featured as a 'celebrity' in the pop-culture media. This is how gullible we've become. It is no accident.
The American people definitely need to re-discover their grit - and many have. Whether enough have to turn back the rush toward apathy-induced socialism that the Obama administration is desperately attempting to push us into remains a question, but one that will have to be answered, soon. I pray the answer is 'yes'.

The Nation, once fundamentally changed (unless people find their metaphorical testicles), will not be run by a bunch of emasculated sheep.
Far from it.
It will be run by the greedy, ruthless, and power-hungry, with no compunction about sacrificing our labor, liberty, treasure, or posterity with the knife of 'correctness du jour' on the altar of their choosing.
I fear no man, only God, but I do fear for the well-being and future of my descendents.
The fundamental discovery many lack is that it is not what I get out of this life, but what I can pass on that I consider worthwhile to those who will follow me.
Those who are too wrapped up in their own self-gratification will not understand until directly affected, and then the focus of 'gimmies' will be shifted to a more numerous demographic so the mewling litters of the general population will squander their energies fighting over the crumbs and scraps which fall from the table of the global elites.
All else will be mere theater.
Haven't you heard? We traded it in for hope and change, and "free" health care, and free Obama money, and government cars, and green energy, and socialism!
Now shut up and give us what we deserve!
