I am very surprised that anything was done. I'll be interested to see what Wake County decides to do.

what do you think the chances of Sleazeley going to jail are?
50% ?
75% ?
do you think they will put Sleazeley corrupt ‘friend’ as judge of case....?

Hmmmmm. Not going to put a number on it, because I don't know enough one way or the other as far as whether they can nail it all onto him, but there's been some talk that it's a real possibility.
If you've seen Easley's testimony, all he does is obfuscate with 'don't knows,' 'not sures,' 'can't remembers,' and, the best, the silly stories. In one story, he was going to talk to so-and-so on the phone about some pertinent matter but had to hang up when his vacuum cleaner broke and started to blow chimney soot all over the living room. Wacky! When he gets out of the big house, he'll make a great stand-in for Jim Carey or Mr. Bean.

Mike Easley’s attorney Thomas Hicks asks State Elections Board to recomend case to the district attorney
looks like the plan for getting off is referral to district attorney...need to find link, but I’m almost positive I read somewhere that district attorney is Sleasley long time ‘freind’
