Or maybe they just stay home because there’s no Republican in the race. Her supporters (what’s left of them) are probably reflex Republican voters who may lose interest. But if they do decide to vote it’s not likely they’ll pull the lever for a Dem.
Bingo. To a RINO, "a conservative can't win," or it's game over, they'll have no power with which to sell favors to their corporate friends.
These people get us stuck with "the party of the rich" label even though the Slave Party is the party of the fabulously rich. In many ways, they are more an impediment to conservatism than are the Democrats.

If this is true and if Doug Hoffman loses. The GOP is as credible as the demonrats come 2010! Stick that in your pipe and smoke it!
