“The poor and literacy rate in that hell hole corner
ranks bottom.”
My city - in Alabama - has one of the highest per capita rates for graduate-level degrees.
Try again, sparky.
Your state is massively in debt. Mine is not.
My state has FAR less intrusive government. Your state has one of the most corrupt and just plain moronic nanny governments in the country.
Lipstick on a pig.
Your gun laws alone are reason enough to view your state with contempt and those trapped in it with pity.
Alabama, you made it too easy.
Enjoy yourself, LOL!!
“Alabama, you made it too easy.”
Your surrender noted.
No, Alabama and the confederacy surrendered to my 3rd great grandfathers who served in the Union Army.
You and the other redneck hicks are what is despised
by Conservatives
“No, Alabama and the confederacy surrendered to my 3rd great grandfathers who served in the Union Army.”
The victory of the Union Army had nothing to do with whatever qualities you think your “3rd great grandfathers” possessed, but the Northern industrial economy. Of course, your very bringing up the Civil War and in a defense of San Diego and CA indicates your surrender here and now.
“You and the other redneck hicks are what is despised

The “redneck hicks” ARE the Conservatives. You might be a Republican, but that doesn’t make you a Conservative.
With the San Ysidro border fence as her backdrop, Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman spoke out on immigration policy issues yesterday, saying it is "simply not practical" to deport the estimated 12.5 million illegal immigrants living and working in the United States.Eisenhower did it.
The 12 million number has been used since 2001.
Don’t buy the MSM 12 million figure.
It is approaching 10 years old!
Buh Bye, Meg ;-)
Univision: To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?
Sarah Palin: I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.
NormsRevenge:
Its not an issue with teachers, per se.
State and local governments have ALWAYS offered generous pension plans TO BE PAID IN THE FUTURE in order to pay below market wages. So, this is just the government fulfilling its legal obligations. I know of millionaire deadbeats who happened to work a company that paid stock options and these clowns are now millionaires. Same story. I don’t notice you snarling at them.
Going forward, all pensions should be privatized.
