Politico’s Mike Allen dumps on Doug Hoffman’s candidacy again. Ping to Today show list.

I think the GOP could use a little chaos about now.

I highly recommend calls to the RNC, the leadership of the GOP, Republican Council, and Newt’s group to tell them in a few choice words what we think of their RINO support.

I actually think it's the exact opposite. It would bring tremendous clarity and focus to a party that has been wandering philosophically for far too long. All the candidates in next year's primaries - even Democrats - would move to the right. If an unabashed conservative can win in upstate New York, they can win
practically anywhere.
The media knows this, especially Politico, and it makes them tremble in fear - a conservative, revitalized and effective Republican Party is the last thing they want.

The only “chaos” would be the monumental fear and terror for the various assorted RINOs and DIABLOs!

Chaos is good in this case. It leads to new organization.

The north east GOP and around this country have been for years pulling away from core principles because they think it will bring in some lefty when it will not

I find the faux concern about the fate of the GOP to be amusing. Obviously, the Dems fear a conservative takeover of the machinery of the GOP because they realize that 40% of Americans self describe themselves as conservative and only 20% are liberal. A Hoffman victory would send out shockwaves among both the Rep and Dem parties.
