“What did John Kerry do now....”
Kerry is giving aid and comfort to the enemy, just as he did when he returned from Vietnam.
Some things never change.
It’s getting harder for me to consider taking a year contract there now.
However large the plume of smoke is, it's not large enough.
Tet offensive.
Afghanistan IS becoming Obama’s Vietnam.
And Obama ironically, is becoming Nixon.
I disagree. Obama is LBJ, not Nixon. Nixon pulled out the troops, Obama is putting more in and has put more in. True, he may not put as many in as Stanley Westmoreland McChystal wants but he is still more than meeting him half way.
Great, lol. Thanks for the further encouragment. The money might be too much to pass up, though.
I fess up. I was mixing presidential metaphors.
Nixon, as in “enemies list”.
He is out of Bagram now, and at a FOB in the mountains, which is much more to his liking I guess.
For us at home...not so much.
I always held it in the back of my mind that reason #33 Bush launched the war in Iraq was to put a battle on the table we could actually win. Afghanistan might be the mother of all lost causes—especially with Obamsky at the helm.
This ain’t gunna get any better till the ROE is changed...
