I always held it in the back of my mind that reason #33 Bush launched the war in Iraq was to put a battle on the table we could actually win. Afghanistan might be the mother of all lost causes—especially with Obamsky at the helm.

Yes, and GWB did not want Saddam and Sons sending their goons to Afghanistan, I heard they did not want Saddam looking over our shoulders with WMD.
What the heck has NATO been doing anyway? I thought they kind of took over years ago?
