I don’t agree with Dawkins. That’s why I’m posting it. But as a God-hating, evo-atheist, Temple of Darwin fanatic, you are in full agreement with him, aren’t you mnehring.
Not in the least. But isn’t true that you consider “Dariwinsts” Nazi, Communists, evo-athiests- all of which sound pretty evil to me. And isn’t it also true that you have condemned the Catholic church for accepting Theistic Evolution as the same “evo-atheists”, etc, etc, etc, for believing that evolution is the tool that God used in Creation?
You can’t have it both ways. You can’t damn them in one breath then say you don’t in another just because some loon author (Dawkins) also damns them.
Then you WILL let evolutionist Catholics into heaven?
Why EXACTLY does a belief in evolution mean that one has to believe everything someone else that believes in evolution believes?

As a non-Catholic, I don’t give a rat’s tuckus what they believe, how they run their show. That’s THEIR choice. I am not a member, I have no say. Couldn’t care less what they do.
.....but Dawkins is right on one thing. The Catholic church stance on condoms coupled with their lies to African catholics in high AIDS zones that “condoms do not protect against AIDS” is killing people and should rightly be condemned.

As a practicing Catholic, I find I have much more in common with GGG than any of these lost-boy stragglers that crowd his threads.
The fact that Dawkins singles out the Catholic church as a worthy target should give any Bible believing Christian pause. Not because Catholics themselves are any holier than their separated brethren, but because the Church is a font of grace and a source of moral and theological certitude in stormy times. That is, the Church is singled out, not because of its human assets, but because it is the chosen instrument of the Holy Spirit.
The reunion of the Church of England with the Church of Peter is a very exciting prospect. The Faith of the English was always most true and intellectually complete. The Separation of the Church of England by King Henry VIII was one of the most tragic events in salvation history; all because he did not trust God to provide him a male heir. Imagine the eager anticipation of those many souls who stood their ground, and who were drawn and quartered for their Faith, at what the Holy Spirit is about to accomplish? Soon Dawkins will have the Anglican grafted branch of the Catholic Church to contend with.
Handel, Lewis, and Chesterton would not have it any other way.
