RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Convicted sniper John Allen Muhammad will die by lethal injection when he is executed next month, Virginia officials said Tuesday.
Muhammad declined to choose between lethal injection and electrocution, so under state law the method defaults to lethal injection, Virginia Department of Corrections spokesman Larry Traylor said.
Muhammad is scheduled to be executed Nov. 10 for the October 2002 slaying of Dean Harold Meyers at a Manassas gas station during a string of shootings.

The California “Night Stalker”, Richard Ramirez is still sitting on Death Row- 20 years since being convicted of 17 murders and countless attacks.
A cold case in San Fran swas solved last week, tying it to Ramirez with DNA. Detectives are uncertain how many people this freak killed, but it is thought to be far above 17.

Death Row should have a permanent population of 5. One moves in, one moves out.
Should have been shot at sunrise the day after his appeals were exhausted.
All of which he wasted, choosing instead to do evil and reaping the just rewards of an evil life.
He has deprived himself of the rewards of a well-lived life, and deprived us of whatever good he may have done ... replacing it all with hatred, murder, and terrorism.
That loss, and even worse the possible (probable?) loss of his soul to eternity in Hell, is an incomparable tragedy.
Nevertheless, it is justice ... and he brought it on himself.
Make it a $10k fine for anyone to remove his carcase. Let everyone drive around, or over, his dumba$$ until he dries up and blows away like a dead raccoon!

I would like to take a moment to nominate for the Nobel Peace Prize the individual who gives the lethal injection; much more accurate and deserving.
I’m taking bets that he doesn’t get to see his 72 transexual virgins (whatever the XXXX that is!) and some bleeding-heart liberal judge will delay the execution.

The only reason that Muhammed is facing lethal injection in VA is that he and his young, homicidal snuggle-bunny, Malvo were caught outside Prince George’s County, MD.
Had they been caught within the confines of PG, there would have countless ‘accidental discharges’ from the county cops before the cuffs were slapped on.
Just sayin’.

Government is the consent of the governed. We the governed have consented to, in extreme cases, permanent removal of one who has proven himself an undue threat to all and not even worthy of basic sustenance compelled from others.
In a perfect world, such people wouldn’t exist and thus the “government power” would be moot.
