Eight American servicemen were killed in a series of explosions today, making October the deadliest month for US troops in Afghanistan since the 2001 invasion.
An Afghan civilian working with the military was also killed.
Officials said that several soldiers were injured in “multiple, complex” bomb attacks in southern Afghanistan, just a day after 14 Americans were killed in two separate helicopter crashes in the south and west of the country.
The Nato-led International Security Assistance Force (Isaf) said that the troops were hit by a series of improvised explosive devices (IEDs), or homemade bombs.

That’s 23 troops dead in 2 days .....
That makes 200+ killed in Afghanistan since McChrystal laid his evaluation and request at Barry’s feet?

But no mention of the total dead. The MSM used to diligently report this very early in the article with the breathless glee of a telethon host begging his pledge board to reveal the new total.
May God help the family’s of those who have to suffer these losses and, to America, who is rapidly becoming, non deserving of their death.

No one knows if sending more troops will decrease the number of our troops, no one. But be assured, Barry and company’s dithering over this is not helping matters at all, period.

Sending more troops is not going to accomplish much of anything, unless the numbers are in the half-million to million range, and they kill everything in sight and blow the place to kingdom come. Then we’ll probably have to occupy what’s left of the country for the next few decades. That’s about the only way we’re going to defeat this enemy and ensure it doesn’t return.
How many since Obama took office? This is a travesty. The Taliban and Al Qaeda are in full force because they know he is a coward!

I hope McCrhystal resigns over this and takes many other of the Generals with him.
