No one knows if sending more troops will decrease the number of our troops, no one. But be assured, Barry and company’s dithering over this is not helping matters at all, period.

Sending more troops is not going to accomplish much of anything, unless the numbers are in the half-million to million range, and they kill everything in sight and blow the place to kingdom come. Then we’ll probably have to occupy what’s left of the country for the next few decades. That’s about the only way we’re going to defeat this enemy and ensure it doesn’t return.

If it means getting things stabilized so that we can get out earlier, yes it will. The longer we stay, the more deaths we will suffer.
