The only national political party that has endorsed Doug Hoffman for Congress (founded and led by FReepers!)

“This idea that we’re suddenly going to establish litmus tests

Isn’t that what the GOP platform is for? Why do it if know one is going to follow it?

“This idea that we’re suddenly going to establish litmus tests....”

Yeah? How about the GOP platform as a litmus test?

Let me get this straight. GOP District Party bosses hold a little confab, and annoint a left wing candidate on the District. The Conservative Party of N.Y., a political party in its own right, that has been in existence some forty plus years, nominates a candidate that reflects their philosophy, and this becomes a PURGE of the GOP? Gingrich is an ASS!

Newt does not = family values. He’s an egotistical Washington strategist whose god and goal is party power— nothing more, nothing less. His value system is such that he’s incapable of understanding why the country feels betrayed by his ilk, why we rejected him and his party, and why he’ll never again have that which he most desires.

It appears Newtie has drawn a line in the sand as he sets out on his quest for the 2012 nomination.
I look for him to step up attacks on Mrs Palin, attempting to disguise them as 'critical thinking'.
To use a trite phrase, Newt's a legend in his own mind. A conceited windbag sporting the requisite hair sprayed coif.
When I think of the two, Gingrich and Palin, I can't help to compare them to Mrs Crabtree and Chubby. The latter had developed a crush on the genteel and pretty teacher, but was contented to settle for pie and ice cream as he was gently rebuffed and taught that one can't always get what one wants.

Perhaps we'll see the advent of Contract With America II - sponsored and headed by Sarah Palin.

I’m from upstate New York Newt and YOU don’t know what you’re talking about.

MEMO to Newt: NO More going along to get along, no more RINO’s. You should spend your time with the current elected GOPers in the Congress and make sure this socialist health plan is defeated. Leave New York to New Yorkers, and we prefer Hoffman to Dede.

“This idea that we’re suddenly going to establish litmus tests and all across the country we’re going to purge the party of anybody who doesn’t agree with us 100 percent; that guarantees Obama’s reelection, that guarantees Pelosi as Speaker-for-life,” he told Fox News last night.”

How about 1%? Heck, I probably agree with Obama on 1% of issues.

So I say to many conservative friends who suddenly decided whether they're from Minnesota, or Alaska, or Texas, they know more than the upstate New York Republicans? I don't think so,” he added.

You forgot to include people from Georgia in there too Newt.

Being from upstate NY; I say to my RINO friend from Georgia, who suddenly decided that he knows more about upstate NY politics, than upstate New York Conservatives??....I DON”T THINK SO NEWT!!!

Hey Newt, the little people are pissed.

If he really wanted to win elections, he would be at least trying to understand why this has happened.

But he is right about one thing. We are trying to “purge” the GOP. Purge meaning vomit up all the RINOs that have destroyed it. Including him.

You CANNOT compromise with RINOS or DIMS. They are liars and back stabbers.

Wow. Newt is all in, with nothing in his hand. A textbook example of "jumping the shark". And here's who he has chosen to champion … as the future of the party:

An-ACORN-friendly-Big Labor-backing-Tax-and-Spend-Radical-Pro-Choice-Calling-Cops-on-Reporters-Feminista who Markos Moulitsas Zuniga (Daily Kos) characterized as "willing to raise taxes when budgets require it, and is to the left of most Democrats on social issues.”

Oh yes Newt, the purge is on and you have chosen extremely unwisely.

Hey Newt, its not just the GOP that needs purged, its the entire elected body.

What you are seeing in this race is far larger than simply a backlash against liberal GOP members.

Its the people finally saying ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, YOU WORK FOR US AND WE WANT OUR COUNTRY BACK.

I understand your concerns, but you are grossly misreading some very very big tea leaves Newt. Get out of the betlway more.

Newt was a winner in the 1990`s. This is 2009. Newt’s trips off the conservative reservation won’t get the GOP out of their coma or help them get back on track.

Fred Thompson, Dick Armey and Sarah Palin endorsed the best candidate, Hoffman. Even Pawlenty knows better.

Wake up Newt!
