I don't think the author has ever watched Fox News, otherwise he would know that while it is true, that Neil Cavuto is on the Business channel he is still on Fox News at the time he is always on (3 pm here) Glenn Beck comes after Cavuto and Special Report after Glenn Beck. Perhaps he got confused when Cavuto was off and had a guest host

Glenn Beck at his best. This is awesome:

IOW, Beck revealed the truth about Dunn and Van Jones but the writer has had enough truth to last his lifetime!

And that passes for intellectual honesty. Beck isn’t erudite for him?

OR perhaps you are correct, that he doesn’t watch Fox.

I am laughing to see how much Fox’s ratings are up.

As you say, Cavuto never immediately preceded Beck. It was Cavuto, then John Gibson, then Special Report.

The guy makes a good point. I've heard Beck on the radio several times, and have usually found him a tad too immature to listen to him regularly. But with the stories he has broken, and the attention he has been getting as Public Enemy No.1, I started DVRing his show to see what the fuss is about.

It's a lot like the radio show, but I like how he walks people through things to make it clear to just about anybody.

I leafed through his "Arguing With Idiots" book, and it too is laid out in a way to make things clear to people who are not news junkies.

The Obamunist should not have awakened the sleeping giant in this case.

He is much too cutesy for me and not nearly erudite enough for my taste.

Yes, but people like me who would say "not smart enough" instead of "erudite" love him. Speak the plain truth and don't try to bull squeeze me with a 10 dollar word when a 50 center will do just fine.

Seems like what we see form this "journalist" is jealousy.

It did not matter whether I had voted for him; he had gone too far.

Herein lies the difference between a Conservative and a Liberal. A Conservative is capable of saying "I made a mistake, the man I thought was honorable, is a thief ... and now I must destroy him".

A Liberal is incapable of admitting a fault in his candidate, no matter what the candidate does. Rape, sexual misconduct with interns, renting out the White House's Lincoln Bedroom -- that's all tolerable. Install a staff of Maoist, Communists, Stalinists - no problem there either. I honestly believe that if Obama was a cannibal and ate a Liberal's only child - the Liberal would ask Obama how he prepared it, and would defend the action citing a childhood malady as an excuse. The press would create 'facts' stating that this was a 'common' afliction with Presidents who had experienced this childhood event; that it wasn't his fault.

Not nearly “erudite” enough, eh? I guess this guy [Bruce?] is a lot smarter than my hound dog, but he’s a little too pedantic for my taste.

Go Glenn! You are making a difference!

Beck was straightforward and truthful, but to be honest, he gave me little reason to watch him again.

Far too "regular guy-ish" and not nearly pretentious enough for elitist snobs.

Sounds like a winner!

Stopped reading right here:

Neil Cavuto had been transferred to the new Fox News Business channel and some guy named Glenn Beck had taken over the slot.

I don't think the writer ever watched Fox, either.

Obama risks suffering the same fate unless he calls the attack dogs off and starts acting presidential.

What and lose all the perks? Are you mad?

Traveling worldwide in the bling-bling express, making all the hottest TV shows, meeting with his muslim brothers worldwide, one mad frantic shopping spree --- wheeee?

Acting presidential? Whazzat?
Aspiring to statesmanship? We don't need no stinkin' statesmanship.

Michelle and me, dude, we need to hit the bright lights of Rio for a few days.

Oval Office is for losers.
I got this personal assistant, Maurice...

Right. I read that far, then quit reading. The guy hasn’t a clue, so nothing else he says will be worth a hoot.

To: Kaslin; The Bat Lady

I have listened to Glenn Beck on the radio for years before he was on CNN. He says he isn’t a journalist but nowhere do I get breaking stories that are sourced as carefully as his.

The “Freedom of the Press” was put there to out corruption in the government. There are very few doing that now.

I continue to listen to Beck AND watch his shows. FOR THE NEWS I GET ........and entertainment too.

My opinion is that Glen is unpredictable. That is one of the reasons why his show is so refreshing. He is very creative. Some days he may include too much of his comedic type routine as part of his presentation, but other days very straight forward with his always serious topic. He is quite brilliant and is capturing his audience. I don’t know how he can keep it up as it must require a lot of preparation. One needs to watch him regularly to be able to understand and appreciate his style. Kind of like being extremely critical of Rush after only one hearing.

Don’t writers (or editors) fact check themselves before they publish anything anymore? Geesh.

I’d rather have facts than “erudite”. Obama fancies himself as “erudite” and we see where that has gotten us...

Looks like I'm not alone in dismissing what the author has to say when he starts off with a blatant inaccuracy.

Damn We FREEPERS are great. Lionheart Pauly etc make the point so clearly
and this, “but I like how he walks people through things to make it clear to just about anybody.”
is exactly right

So Beck checks and doublechecks his info before he reports it.

Has any obamite EVER found an inaccurate? Nope
and they won’t
