In December, President Obama will fly to Oslo to receive in person the Nobel Peace Prize he was recently awarded beating, among others, Chinese dissident Hu Jia. He might also drop in next door to Copenhagen, where the United Nations will be trying to arrive at a global solution to climate change, a sort of another Kyoto, only successful.
President Obama, however, will miss the November 9 celebrations of the twentieth anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the event symbolically marking the end of the Cold War. Barack too busy, reports Germanys Spiegel.
Unkind cynics might say that Barack is too busy preparing Americas future defeats to celebrate her past victories. But even the more sympathetic observers will wonder what sort of scheduling difficulties will keep the leader of the free world from participating in a celebration of one of the most momentous events in the history of the twentieth century one which was a culmination of Americas longest (albeit cold) war and which represented the victory and vindication of everything that America stood for over the forces of tyranny and totalitarianism.
Obama, of course, has notoriously missed another recent anniversary....

Too busy to say hi to the Dalai Lama...
They probably said he had to come in person to get the check. He is probably sweating they will want to see some identification like a real birth certificate.
It's all about The One.
Besides, he's got other plans...
Before we go to far with this, we have to remember, Obama knows nothing about American history and could care less if he is not in front of a camera with a teleprompter.
Barack Hussein Obama mmmm mmmm mmm! Barack Hussein Obama mmm mmm mmm! Barack Hussein Obama, mmmm mmmm mmmm! He’s off to Oslo to get his medal as he said MMMM MMM MMM! He is going to say how much he hates America, mmm mmmm mmmmm!
I think it safe to say Vladimir Putin won’t attend either.
When it’s all about him, he is there. His head is so big now that his ears look like they fit. Well, almost.
So that’s what Mr. Treasonist is doing today.
He takes an award that he doesn’t deserve and turns his back to the fall of communism. Why not? He loves communism.
“He might also drop in next door to Copenhagen, where the United Nations will be trying to arrive at a global solution to climate change, a sort of another Kyoto, only successful.
Hopefully, we’ll arrive at an American solution for regime change...a sort of 1994, only successful in gaining the White House too in 2012.
I don’t think I’l ever eat M&Ms gain.
Ain't gonna happen.
He’s on vacation.
Again.
The fall of the Berlin wall could hardly be celebrated by Barack Obama, because if he had had his way and Jimmy Carter was reelected, or Walter Mondale elected after one term of Regan, then that wall would still be standing. The most stark example of real Peace was the destruction of the Berlin wall. Ronald Regan and George Bush were instrumental in insuring and securing that peace.
So while Barry picks up his phony baloney Peace Prize, two men who actually attained peace will continue to not be recognized by the Liberal intelligentsia and mainstream media for one of the greatest feats in modern times. The destruction of communism as a workable idea and the ending of the Cold War.
Especially with himself as the Dear Leader.
