Washington caught off guard by Netanyahu visit
Ynet ^ | 10.25.09 | Yitzhak Benhorin

Israel says PM did not consult Obama ahead of trip because meeting on peace process unnecessary.

WASHINGTON – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's intention to visit Washington for the annual UJC General Assembly has surprised many on Capitol Hill and was apparently not coordinated with the Obama administration.

An American source told Ynet Sunday that news of the visit had been received with reserved astonishment.

The Obama administration has not yet responded to questions of whether a meeting with Netanyahu was forthcoming due to their surprise over the unscheduled visit. On the other hand, failure to invite Netanyahu to the White House may be perceived as a diplomatic crisis.

Sources in Jerusalem say Netanyahu did indeed decide to attend the GA without first consulting President Barack Obama, but that since the latter would also be present at the event the two may meet in any case.

The sources say a summit between the two leaders would be superfluous at this point in the peace process, and for this reason an official meeting has not been scheduled.

An official statement regarding Netanyahu's visit is scheduled to be published soon in the US, and an unofficial oral announcement has already been given by the Jewish Federations' leaders. The prime minister's visit is scheduled to take place on November 8-10.

With that turkey in the White House, it’s pretty much a case of snub or be snubbed. And when that is the case, it’s usually it’s better to snub.

Under normal circumstances I wouldn’t applaud. But since this administration treats dictators, thugs, and holacaust deniers with more respect than our allies...screw them. And Israel may have just done that. LOL

Bebi already had the CDs that Obama as going to give him in his collection, so there was no point in honoring protocol among friends.

If they do meet for talks, I wonder if he’ll have to set there for 45 minutes to an hour listening to obama go on and on about how he had to clean up the mess that President Bush’s administration supposedly left our perpetual vacationing leader.

Well, I am a fan of Netanyahu, so just about anything he does is fine with me.

But...there is an issue of protocol that would require a notice, something as simple as a call before landing might suffice, prior to one head of state entering another country.

I also full well realize that this protocol is something observed by true political professionals...so maybe its just a well-placed acknowledgment on PM Nets part that the 0bie/Soetoro admin is not worthy of their position and will be regarded as such by real professionals in the biz.

That’d actually be a good idea... as she’d [Cynthia McKinney] probably jump in front of a moving bulldozer to become the next libtard pancake.

Sort of a reprise of the 'Death of the Flat Rachel Corrie' (w/apologies to Gordon Lightfoot:

The legend lives on from Palestinians on down
Of the big thing they call a ‘bulldozer’
The dozer, it’s said, always flattens its dead
When the left wing protesters turn looney.

With a carbon steel frame sixty-two metric tons more
Than the flat Rachael Corrie weighed empty.
The blade it is true is a thing to be feared
When the treads of the dozer start rolling.

The Cat was the pride of the Israeli side
Coming back from some hill in the Gaza
As the big dozers go, it was bigger than most
With a diesel of four hundred horses

Concluding some berms with a couple of quick turns
When they left fully fueled up for Rafah
When later that day her megaphone sang
Could it be that dumb bitch they was hearin’?

The dirt in the treads made a tattle-tale sound
As the mud broke over the blading
And every man knew, as Miss Corrie did too,
T’was a big Caterpillar come dozin’.

The blade came down and the dumb twit stood her ground
When the D9 bulldozer came plowin’.
Devoid of good sense and ignoring all risk
She turned her back on the oncoming dozer.

When it finally came, the dumb bitch kept her place sayin’
Surely, they’ll stop what they’re doing.
Under the tread her air pathway caved in, she said
Dammit, this shouldn’t have happened!

Her friends called in that the blonde bitch was down,
And the bomb laden house was in peril.
And later that day when her lights went outta sight
Came the death of the flat Rachael Corrie.

Does any one know where the sense of libs go
When the blade turns the minutes to hours?
The soldiers all say she’d have got out okay
If she’d put fifteen more feet behind her.

She might have been crushed or she might have split wide;
May have broke ribs and her bladder.
And all that remains is the traces and the stains
Of her imprint, the tread tracks and splatter.

Arafat stews, Hizbollah spews
From the rooms of their compounds in Gaza.
The ISM screams like a spoiled preteen
They voice their support for the terror.

And don’t we all know, when the buses explode
They’ll march out their apologists willing,
Now activists go as the drivers all know
With the big caterpillars remembered.

In a musty old room in Ramallah they prayed,
In the ISM office of terror.
The door bell chimed till it rang seventy-two times
For each tread on the big Caterpiller.

The legend lives on from Palestinians on down
Of the big thing they call a ’bulldozer’.
The dozer, they said, always flattens its dead
When left wing protestors turn looney!

Obama gave a speech to the UN General Assembly, the “Apologize for America Speech.” Obama effectivelky resiged his seat as the leader of the Western Free World.

The next night Obama told the truth about the UN, and its so called Huan Rights commission. He castigated the UN for suportinng the miurder of civillians in Israel for a period in excesss of 8 years , doing nothing. He took the seat as leader of the Wesern Free World.

Obama is a nothing, has no influence in the so called Middle East “Peace Process.” Why then should Bibi visit Obama. Obama is weak, a nothing, a nobody, who claimed his own disempowerment before the whole world, while patrioitic soverein America puked.

Something like a notice from the visiting head of state to the hosting head of state — only, in this case, the USofA don't got one. The US Presidency is currently vacant, in every sense of the word.

So who would they notify?

(Btw, the Israelis make diplomacy look like fun!)

Bibi, QE would probably love to have a giggle with you.;)

I would suppose protocol would dictate that when a head of state comes aboard in another country, there would be advance notice for security purposes.

I can’t believe it has come to this. I am giggling with JOY as another world leader snubs our President. Sad that it has come to this.

But you have to admire Bibi’s... cojones. I wouldn’t want to meet with Obama either. Although I hope Bibi’s bodyguards are strong and numerous because the teeny balleriny in the WH has a hot temper.
