I would guess that Jane Hall quit because she was asked too many times for evidence to support her wild assertions. Or, she had to recant remarks because she had no supporting data or logic.
The typical liberal approach to "news" is character assassination, victimology, the "blame" game, and proclaiming the good intentions of policies they want to advance. In reality, I suspect that Fox took note of her lack of ability to address the substance of the issues. ...just a guess.
Do any of the liberal media have a clue as to how much staff work it is to actually address the substance of an issue? ...much easier to go with the flow!

I’m amazed she was hired in the first place. Even for a journalism professor, her “resume” is paper thin. Stints as a staff writer at TV Guide and a tour at People magazine before moving into academia. Call me underwhelmed.
Of course, I’m old-fashioned. Once upon a time, commentators had years of reporting experience (and not on the entertainment beat) before they moved into a pundit’s role. Unfortunatley, times have changed by by today’s standards, years of writing fawning, celebrity profiles does makes you a perfect choice to be a pundit. No wonder Bernie Goldberg smoked her in all of their on-air debates.
Well that tears it, according to Jane Hall and that schmuck from the Huffington Post, a news network’s job is to suck up to the president. FOX is simply not doing its job by failing to suck up to Obama along the extravagant lines of the other networks. For that they must be CONDEMNED!!!! Yes, and made to air the comments of wacko Dems for at least ten hours a day for the next eight years. How dare FOX have different opinions than the lib networks! (smirk)

Wow, Jane Hall leaves Fox News... What a loss... Unabashed liberal head-in-the-sand professor of journalism (?) at American University! Can all that be correct? I never saw her give an opinion that I thought was well reasoned. Never did I see reality and rationality enter her pin-head sized brain at least in terms of her opinions. They gave her the position of Fox News Contributor for about 8 years and now she moves on. Because of Glenn Beck. And what did Beck do?
He outed Acorn.
He outed Van Jones.
He’s raised questions about Anita Dunn and others in Obama’s cabinet and/or Czar-dom.
He’s raised questions about the marginalizing of town-hallers and the 912 Tea Party goers.
Gee, Jane, you really contributed a great deal to FoxNews. I’m sure Fox News Watch will be crushed with your absence.

Yes she was. I read this morning’s “ Talking head thread” and she appeared on someone’s round table. She declared the exit from Fox and Beck. Her 15 minutes are up.
