Last I heard Texas is about double it's usual rate.
We think my daughter and her daughters have had it. Her doc says that there is an unusual (symtom wise) version of strep throat that is also showing up as a secondary. He said that normally he'd have seen 4 or 5 cases by that time in the season (couple of weeks ago) instead he'd seen over 40.

I realize my mistake now...the point is that there is so little legit info out there that mistakes, like the one I made, is very easy to do.

There is no shortage of vaccine. It’s a phony shortage. The Canadians had all the vaccine they wanted, two or three weeks ago.

When China had that bad epidemic, they closed schools, everyone wore masks and before you knew it, the flu that could kill half the world just faded away. He declares a National Emergency yet is doing NOTHING to help prevention. NOTHING!!

How can you even say that? NOBODY knows the true incidence of this so called "pandemic". As for morbidity and mortality rates. NOBODY has done a post mortem or collected data on the incidence of seizure disorder patients and then separated out Influenza type A from sub-type H1N1, H3, H1, type B, "unable to type" and "subtype not done". As of the beginning of this season there have been 53 pediatric deaths due to influenza.
53 that's it. Out of about 27-28000 reported cases of "flu".
Can you give me your data or are you like most of the people in our government , just yapping off about something you know nothing about?
So you've collected or have data showing 2x mortality rates among seizure patients this season. Is that current or over what period of time? Does that include non-sub typed viruses or just those confirmed with postmortem fluid analysis?
Everybody just needs to think for a minute and calm down. It's the FLU. If you get it, yeah it's bad but you'll most likely recover. But would I stand around in a line or in a crowded clinic with hundreds or thousands of contacts sniffling, coughing and rubbing their buggers all over the place????.... HELL NO.
You're better off keeping your kids clean, telling them not to touch their face unless they wipe off their hands and if they have AIDs, cancer, asthma, diabetes or are immunocompromised... get vaccinated. But make sure you get the right vaccine, in the right delivery and correct dosage and intervals.
I refuse to take antibiotics unless they do test and confirm I have a bacterial infection. They try to give them for everything. It’s nuts.
Chill out! When we get Obamacare they’ll just amputate.

Emergency powers trump the Bill of Rights

• The effective nullification of the Bill of Rights. Your right to due process, to being safe from government search and seizure, and to remain silent to avoid self-incrimination are all null and void under a Presidential declaration of a national emergency.
None of this means that federal agents are going to march door to door arresting people at gunpoint if they refuse the vaccine, but they could if they wanted to. Your rights as an American are no longer recognized under this national emergency declaration.

That’s weird, because the COSTCO clinic in Bellingham was overwhelmed with Canadians, who told everyone that they had already received their swine flu vaccine, several weeks ago, but that Canada had been shorted on their supply of regular vaccine. The nurse who was giving the vaccine, repeated the story, saying that they had had to cancel two of the COSTCO clinics because they had been so overwhelmed by Canadians, looking for the regular vaccine. The nurse said that it was puzzling, that Canada had been able to get the vaccine that we were not able to get.
