That should be easy to check on . 53 pediatric deaths this year nationally according to the CDC... so let's see that's about 24 deaths from swine flu had epilepsy. ..... according to you,right?

Two thirds of the children who died had high-risk medical conditions. Nearly all of them had an illness related to the nervous system, including mental retardation, cerebral palsy and epilepsy and other seizure disorders.

This is the article money quote from what I gather...... right?

Read it real slowly and understand this, First of all it states that 2/3 of the children had high risk medical condition. Not just seizures... but some "high risk" medical condition.... not specific.

Then "nearly all".. whatever that means had an illness "related to the nervous system..... Including CP, MR , epilepsy and seizure. Is it equal among all four of those groups... is it heavily weighted towards the kids with bad gag reflexes like kids with CP or is just kids with seizures.

I don't doubt for a minute that kids with epilepsy might have problems with secondary infections due to meds suppressing their immune response or poor gag reflexes causing aspiration pneumonia. but really..... the running around and panic caused by this swine flu over and under analysis is mind boggling.

We have a guy that declared a NATIONAL EMERGENCY!!!! over this. We have idiots waiting in line in the cold, rain and snow for immunizations ... in crowds with multiple exposures for a vaccine whose dosage and frequency is variable. ....

God help us if we ever have a true emergency in this country. I can already tell if we ever had a SHTF crisis most of the herd is getting culled in the first 3 or 4 days just by running around with their hands in the air waiting in some line for the Washington nipple.
