From my inbox: Shutting down FR's support - extortion attempt

Hello Jim,

Since you've done what you've done to another reporter of mine when others seem to be allowed to post back to their blog or sites viablogger section, I've taken the liberty to gathering information about your website.

1. I've determined the need for all that money a month is invalid. I run a major website, and do not need that much.

2. You seem to be running the show, not a major building with staff.

3. Donations like this should be going elsewhere, needed, not into YOUR pockets.

4. I am having a press release written on FR, urging citizens to stop wasting their money on you, and to donate for a better cause, elsewhere.

5. I will not stop, unless the price is right. Yes, this is a bribe, because I will not screw you over had you not screwed me over. But it can change with swift talks.

6. You are not a true AMERICA LOVER.

7. Have a nice day, expect your vendors to pull out soon and your donations frozen.

Reads like satire. I don’t buy it for a second.

Watch his FR statement on video here and see if you think this is a guy capable of satire. Your skepticism is healthy, but in this case we have a delusional, mentally ill borderline personality who appears ready to go fully psycho.

Depends. Is the jolt in your hand or in your mouth?

Maybe we should start leaving the door open in winter.

And burn tires, lotsa tires.

I vote for burning tires. When I was a tot, we lived in the Sticks and had pot-bellied stoves that were fed on wood or coal. In the Stick ‘Hood, coal was cheap. We fed three stoves and managed to stay warm most winter nights.

And bread was baked (in my house, and those of some friends) by smell, since the heat was coal fed. Or maybe wood fed. Still, fresh-baked bread is an awesome aroma!!

Nah. We should live more underground, with tunnels connecting the communities together.

And use lots of nuclear energy. And build sheltered greenhouses so children can play in artificial sunshine during the blah winter months.

And then we'd be more ready, just in case.

Nuthin.
Waiting for my “family” to remember I’m still alive.
I think I may go out for a beer and forget all that. Life is good!

It even says to on the box, but we have to be different.

What nice memories. Baking by smell would work well once you had done it a few times.

We should live more underground

I think that's a great idea.

There were some okay cats in Monroe, but the cat-adoption person wasn't there. We'll go back Saturday afternoon, if I feel like it. We bought gerbil snacks, so the trip wasn't wasted, and I saw an acquaintance from church and several friendly dogs.

Works fer me!!

I found some “Tony’s Pizzas” in a box of six, and they weren’t too bad! Just the right size for a family of one!

So that’s where I went wrong as a parent...

My son didn’t like pizza.....

Hold on.
Are you telling me you tried to cook for your kids too?

Has there been a study on serving frozen food, in a cooked form, to growing children?

See? We both did it.

Nah...when my kids were growing up, I fed them pizza that came in a box. Chef Boy-Ar-Dee did an awesome job of providing the flour mix, the tomato mix in a can and left the rest of the ingredients up to moms.

I would add pepperoni, sausage, cheeses....the kids loved it. Neither one really likes prepared pizza.
