Maybe we should start leaving the door open in winter.
And burn tires, lotsa tires.
I vote for burning tires. When I was a tot, we lived in the Sticks and had pot-bellied stoves that were fed on wood or coal. In the Stick ‘Hood, coal was cheap. We fed three stoves and managed to stay warm most winter nights.
And bread was baked (in my house, and those of some friends) by smell, since the heat was coal fed. Or maybe wood fed. Still, fresh-baked bread is an awesome aroma!!
Nah. We should live more underground, with tunnels connecting the communities together.
And use lots of nuclear energy. And build sheltered greenhouses so children can play in artificial sunshine during the blah winter months.
And then we'd be more ready, just in case.
