What’s to think about? Get behind Sarah and Rick, Tim. Sarah’s lead the way.

Folks, don’t pile on to Pawlenty for being late. (Even though he is.) People who come out on the right side need to be encouraged, even if they’re late to the party. If we bash someone for doing the right thing, what message does that send?

In all fairness, who would have expected the Hoffman phenom? I’m a news junkie, and the development caught me in (delighted) surprise. Plus, I’m scared of third parties and the damage they can do. Now I think we ought to turn it into a giant party/rally.

T Paw already showed he's not ready for prime time. Here was his first (lame) response regarding his view of the NY-23 race last evening:

Just minutes before she made the announcement, Pawlenty happened to be speaking to reporters in Washington after a fundraiser for his new political action committee. The Minnesota governor refused to make an endorsement when asked about the race.

"You know I haven't been following that, I haven't studied the race at all," he said. "It's not that I would or wouldn't, I just don't know anything about it. I haven't taken the time to study their positions, their records, so I haven't taken a position on it."

TP is a follower, not a leader.

Following Palin’s lead.

Why are people supporting this third party loon? He's going to hand the election to the Democrat. And we can't allow that to happen!

A leader doesn’t stand with his finger in the wind waiting to decide which candidate will be best for his future. A leader chooses people based on their values and stands on the issues. I thought I could like Gov. P. Now I am not so sure.

Win or lose, the Hoffman message to the GOP is: move to the right or become irrelevant.

Pawlenty wishes to remain relevant. Can’t fault him for that. Now all he has to do is move to the right.

Guess he figured if Palin had done it and got so much attention and donations to Hoffman he had better jump in, too. The real looser in this is Newt... big screw up for him.

I saw this, along with the earlier reports of Pawlenty’s confusion on this whole race in NY23. Really, these endorsements are getting silly. Hoffman needs to be focusing in his district. An endorsement from John McHugh (the congressman this district elected last year) is the only one he should be pursuing actively. These others might help with grass roots fundraising from all over the country, but I doubt they have too much effect in the district itself.

Has everyone seen this: “The Most Important Number in Politics Today.”

Doug Hoffman is the Conservative alternative in this race (or Hoffman by PayPal).

Markos Moulitsas, founder of The Daily Kos has endorsed Scozzafava. Dede Scozzafava has also been endorsed by NYSUT, the largest labor union in New York, and an affiliate of the National Education Association.

Scozzafava also holds these positions:

Scozzafava has also run in past elections on the Working Families Party (a progressive party associated with ACORN) line on the ballot.

This lady isn’t a RINO, she is a big “R” libeRal democRat. Mark Steyn has coined the term DIABLO for her and others like her. Democrat In All But Label Only.

There are also at least 17 unprincipled DIABLO enablers in the house who have donated funds or otherwise supported to this LibeRal democRat's DIABLO’s campaign. They include Boehner, Cantor, Sessions, Hensarling, Brown-Waite and McCotter. I don’t have a full list, but I will be looking for it. These unprincipled enablers should be targeted for elimination in the primaries next year. Also, perhaps those of us who donated to the RNC or RCCC should ask for our money back so we can support the conservative candidates of our choice.

More threads ...

I support Doug Hoffman for Congress (PayPal).

Please, spread the word about this important election on November 3, 2009 in New York’s 23rd congressional district.

“Considering” an endorsement?? What the hell is there to consider? It’s either endorse a leftist or a conservative. How long does it take to make the decision?! Pawlenty is just another gutless limp-wrist, afraid to annoy those splendid, rock-ribbed American patriots currently in charge of the republican party.
