Oh goody, I get to be the syntax/usage police ;-p

Mrs. Palin will stick to her princiPLES, not princiPALS.

Sorry; can’t help myself.

But great post otherwise. I hope she does endorse a properly principled CONSERVATIVE candidate and not the rhinette.

Great and almost necessary move for her credibility, I think if she does. A tad late, but not too late.

Well, I was actually hoping she’d go do a campaign event with him—

I’m glad Fred Thompson endorsed him.

I wish he would run a real campaign in 2012. I still think he is a great candidate!

I don’t know anything about Hoffman but I’m for anything Sarah does to show she’s her own gal. The RNC can get bent.

Remember that in 1972 NY actually elected a Conservative Party candidate, Jim Buckley, to the Senate...all is possible..

If Palin does endorse Hoffman, I don’t think she will travel to NY to campaign for him. Instead she might post a Facebook entry praising Hoffman and have Sarah Pac donate much needed money to Hoffman.

Great opportunity for Sara to assume leadership of the conservative movement. Since there is open warfare going on between the GOP ruling elites and it’s grass roots conservatives, Sara could easily lead and unite conservatives with a real effort on behalf of Hoffman. I hope she does and I hope Hoffman wins. That would send a REAL message to the GOP that same old same old ain’t gonna work no more.

Good move for her, it will solidify here place in the conservative camp. She has little to lose if he loses, and a lot to gain if he wins.

However, I wonder if it will help Hoffman. He already has the conservative vote, and they tell us Sarah has high negatives among independents. It will be interesting to see what happens.

The so called GOP leadership will be working double time to ask her to not endorse anyone rather than endorse the non-RINO.

I hope (see pray) she tells the ALLEGED GOP leadership to engage in a reproductive impossibility.

I hope she does. This is still just a rumor and speculation. If it happens, it would be a big boost.

With or without Sarah Palin, Doug Hoffman is an important candidate for the conservative grass roots. A Hoffman victory would be great for the movement. Even putting Scozzafava in a third place finish would be worthwhile. It would send the message that the Republicans need to listen to their base.

Doug Hoffman is the Conservative alternative in this race (or Hoffman by PayPal).

Markos Moulitsas, founder of The Daily Kos has endorsed Scozzafava. Dede Scozzafava has also been endorsed by NYSUT, the largest labor union in New York, and an affiliate of the National Education Association.

Scozzafava also holds these positions:

Scozzafava has also run in past elections on the Working Families Party (a progressive party associated with ACORN) line on the ballot.

This lady isn’t a RINO, she is a big “R” libeRal democRat. Mark Steyn has coined the term DIABLO for her and others like her. Democrat In All But Label Only.

There are also at least 17 unprincipled DIABLO enablers in the house who have donated funds or otherwise supported to this LibeRal democRat's DIABLO’s campaign. They include Boehner, Cantor, Sessions, Hensarling, Brown-Waite and McCotter. I don’t have a full list, but I will be looking for it. These unprincipled enablers should be targeted for elimination in the primaries next year. Also, perhaps those of us who donated to the RNC or RCCC should ask for our money back so we can support the conservative candidates of our choice.

More threads ...
From the desk of
cc2k:
I support Doug Hoffman for Congress (PayPal).

Please, spread the word about this important election on November 3, 2009 in New York’s 23rd congressional district.
