Under the new “National Emergency” on H1N1 virus, will Obama send out the National Guard and close off this and other demos like it?

Darn it all. I told Jim I was gonna ride the trolley up from Chula Vista to attend and especially meet him but I have been sick and in and out of bed and sleep all day. Currently have a 102 fever. I hope this is like a 24 swine flu and it breaks by morning. Figure this may be my only chance for a while to meet Jim.

Woo hoo!! We’re here in San Diego now and preparing for the launch of Tea Party Express II tomorrow morning. Scouted out the terrain this afternoon and visited the USS Midway while there! Hope to see you here tomorrow!

You think since were in a national emergency ..that they might try and bust these up under the guise of not spreading the flu?

I'll do my best to make it even if sick. I love the Midway. I actually tour it a couple times a year. Since I can't drive because of seizures and don't ofter have a ride I have to stick with things close to the Trolley line and from down here in Chula Vista it's just a short trolley ride up to downtown then off at American Plaza and walk to the Midway. I wonder how many people will be there tomorrow, any estimates?

Also Syncro and JimRob, any idea what time you are going to be over there tomorrow morning?

I have to get my lady friend to come with me or run by my house tomorrow, she has my favorite T-Shirt and I want to wear it.

They ARE trying to bust it up, but the old fashioned way. There is a huge retweet on Twitter to go and counter protest the "teabaggers," as they like to call us.

I hope enough L.A. conservatives will brave the 80 degrees-and-sunny weather to be there.

It’s in the Crystal Springs area of the park ... there is a map at the link. Griffith Park has street parking and parking lots:

The Democrats are not suggesting cutting entitlement spending. They just want to transfer those entitlement payments from seniors to poor illegal aliens and blacks. Their healthcare plan required massive tax increases and increases the deficit so it certainly isn’t a entitlement spending cut.

Secondly, seniors were forced to pay into the Medicare system for decades so it would be wrong to deny them care now. Democrats want to transfer those payments to groups that haven’t paid a dime into the system.

Ready to meet up with the Express in Carson City, NV. I’m bringing my 18 year old daughter as she will be voting in the 2010 election.

I drove by Crystal Springs this morning while I went out for breakfast.

If you enter at the Riverside Drive & Los Feliz entrance, you will notice as you pass the pony rides that they are doing extensive road work. You will be forced to turn left.

Go for quite awhile and after a few stops there will be a 4 way stop. There will be a blue sign that says “Crystal Springs”. Turn right as it says. Very shortly after you turn you will come to what looks like a parking lot which appears to be a dead end. Turn left.

You will come to a spot that says “Crystal Springs Picnic”. I drove all over that area and, as of this morning, there was simply nothing that would indicate that there was any sort of event that was upcoming. No signs, no banners, no people, nothing.

Hope we see each other there.

I’ll be in Griffith Park today along with hopefully many , many others.

I wish this was going to be on a main thoroughfare though, like the event at federal building on Wilshire in Sept. It’s fun to have large crowds passing by via auto and express support (or disapproval).

Whatever, let’s make this a great afternoon!!!!! Bring signs, flags, and above all extra people!!!!!

I was there and it was fantastic. The turnout was at least several thousand. All of the speakers were great with the theme of “now is the time to act” running through every speech. The salute to the military past and present and the singing of God Bless America were particularly moving moments.

All attendees were given homework assignments.

Re-read your Declaration of Independence and Constitution also. Many refs through the rally to them.
