Muslims Protest Geert Wilders Outside Dutch Parliament
Everywhere you look these days Americans' most basic freedom is under attack by the jihadists of the international left. The infamous UN Human Rights Commission which includes the worst human rights violators on the planet (now joined by the Obama Administration) has recently passed a resolution which paves the way for the Islamic Conference's measure against religious defamation -- defined as linking Islamists to terrorism. At home Democrats have attached a "hate crimes" amendment which would make thinking a crime to the new defense appropriations bill. Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh has been banned from owning a National Football League team on the grounds that he is a conservative and conservatives are hateful. And at Temple students who have invited one of the most important international figures in the fight against Islamic terrorism are being attacked by the Muslim Students Association on the grounds that his speech is going to be "hateful." I myself was scheuled to speak at St. Louis University a Catholic college next Friday but was banned by administrators when supporters of the jihad claimed that my speech would insult Muslims.
The pattern is clear. First smear those who disagree with you as "hate-mongers" and then silence them as untouchables. And soon -- if the hate crimes legislation movement continues to roll -- put them in jail. Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of the attempts to shut down the Temple speech of Geert Wilders which is being sponsored by a student organization called Temple University Purpose is the role played by three Temple University administrators who run the student activities program and who at a meeting last week pressured the TUP students to close down their event.

We are on the verge of becoming NAZI Germany at it’s most destructive point.
I believe Jews will be targeted in this nation, something we never thought we would see on our soil.
I say this, because the oppression of Jews is where these types of people always gravitate to, when they get their way.
If you see the leverage the Muslim people already wield, you can’t just dismiss what I am saying.
And if you think it stops with the Jews, have I got news for you.
The people who pride themselves today by calling everyone else names for being racists, are already the very people targeting others for correction. Then comes punitive measures.
We’re there folks. If they can do it to Rush, if they can do it to people who merely want to make an address on campus, if they can shut out reasoned thought, good luck.
We are slipping into darkness.
In order for the US to survive, we must separate Islam from the 1st Amendment. To not do so is suicide.
Stand strong and trust God not the government or anything you may hear on the news. The time will/has come when lies will be seen as truth and truth as lies. Just my humble opinion.
You are absolutely right, of course, also in that that persecution of the Jews never ends with the Jews; it is usually an indication of something terribly wrong in the culture.
The political correctness --- persecution of approved targets --- has been rampant for a long time and seems to have accelerated after the election of the "post-racial" president. I am really worried about our great country.
Here is the Ironic thing a lot of the Jews here voted for this circus in the Whitehouse!
It is ironic indeed. For me it is also incredibly painful because I am Jewish.
My Jewish friends are very Conservative one a Captain in the Marine corp. They cannot answer it either!
I am glad David is turning his attention to the Muslims. They share many of the same goals and tactics as the Communists he so bravely fights.
You are correct, but more broadly, political correctness itself is an assault on the first amendment and we must fight it in general.
You and me both TopQuark. Take care. I appreciate the comments.
I fear that as well...
I really do think we need to contemplate our readiness plan, if you catch my drift. I live in a large metropolitan area, and it would be pure hell if the stuff hit the fan without a backup area to fall back to.
I hear ya, but in all seriousness...and I do mean, the deepest level of seriousness...if this is the time, then there eventually will be no place to take refuge, and our only readiness will be our declaration of faith in God. That is where we will make our final stand.
You are correct. In fact Horowitz wrote a book about this. Read “Unholy Alliance” and you’ll find more information and arguments you can use to support the point you’re making.
Thanks for the suggestion. I remember the book when it was first published. I’ll try to find a cheap copy to brush up on.
