Walmart is already putting out their Christmas decorations.
That’s the thing. The market can survive on talk and fake reports, but when it comes to spending money in other arenas, people and companies use different criteria to control their actions.
And, frankly, in this job environment with so many unemployed, other than training concerns, why hire them until you are SURE you need them.
Retiling is hurting due to new home constructions down...just sayin.

There will be plenty waiting if you do need them. They aren’t going anywhere.

Well, it may also be hurting becuase nobody is using their home as an ATM any more.
I have some tile in the kitchen I would like re-grouted.
I'll definitely not be having that done during the holidays.
The tile industry is mostly union or foreign anyway.
rascal!
Breaking: Obama to extend Christmas vacation to two months in order to keep Christmas hires on the job longer!
Do retilers replace worn out tile?
what’s a retiler?? is this someone who puts tile over tile in your kitchen?
This is setting up to be a regular 30’s Christmas.
I wonder if O and Mrs. are going to light the national Christmas tree. (Excuse me, the national holiday tree.)
My Christmas present to the liberal press, a headline: “Holiday Sales Better than Expected.”
I’ve already done my Christmas shopping online. I’m not going to be in any stores other than my supermarket until after New Years.
I’d be reluctant to use a tiler that couldn’t get it right the first time. Just sayin’...
That’s okay, I am very reluctant to purchase retailers goods. There are less and less of the items I buy on many shelves. I take that as they are trying to program what I buy. Wal-Mart is doing this so I have stopped buying from them. The Hispanic community is doing very well for Wal-Mart as mine has more Mexican language labels showing than any English labels. So long Wal-Mart!
I do all my own retiling myself. I dont need no help.
OK!!! OK!!! Does anyone know how I can go back and correct the typo in the header? Thanks in advance.
No, it’s okay. People know what you’re trying to say and honestly, with all the bad news out there, it’s uplifting to come across a thread with some good punch lines to laugh at.
You did us all a favor, by accident. LOL
Toys r us is now offering layaway for Christmas.
Lowe's and Home Depot have had their up for some time. Also, as of this past weekend, there wasn't much left for Halloween decor - but there wasn't much to begin with.
Methinks that this XMas season isn't going to be a merry one for retailers. Darn near everyone I know has mentioned that they're cutting back.
Fine by me. I'd rather spend time with family and eat well, then get a bunch of junk that I need to find storage space for.
