Going thru security ck at Richmond Airport last month and they had one of these. I was given the option of standing in the X-ray 'booth' or being searched by a person. I used the former, it only took a few seconds. No big deal. I think they should be mandatory.

The X-ray device moves around a stationary body. Though, if the body were Michelle O or Mike Huckabee I imagine it would have to make more than one rotation.

I did this in Indy last year. A slow sunday morning and the TSA guy asked me to help them test the system.

Since I'm a nerd and I want to know what they are doing I said sure, they scan me and the TSA guy says "sir your back left pocket has a object in it.....it was my parking stub.

Pretty dang good scanner to find a piece of paper.
