RICHMOND, Va. A federal judge has ruled that Virginia violated the voting rights of military service members and other Americans overseas when officials failed to mail more than 2,100 absentee ballots in time for last year's presidential election.
U.S. District Judge Richard Williams also ordered Friday that the Virginia Board of Elections count and certify the absentee ballots.
The ballots from military service members and others living outside the state were the focus of a lawsuit filed by Republican candidate John McCain's campaign, which alleged that they weren't mailed in time for overseas voters to return them before the polls closed Nov. 4.

The most egregious, in your face, was Florida 2000 - with Gore screaming EVERY vote must count and at the same time suing to keep many military votes from being counted I remember that, and it was truly shameless.
If I recall correctly, lawyers' groups worked overtime to keep military absentee votes from counting.

I think this was a pretty quick decision. An article was posted recently wherein Virginia officials said something to the effect that legally, they could mail the absentee ballots one day before the election.

When they get them back in time, they’ll figure out a way to “misplace” them. RATS are the scum of the earth.

The missing ballots would not have swung the election in Virginia where President Barack Obama won by nearly 233,000 votes. What about the down-ticket races? Is the presidential race all that these Lefties think about?

November 4 2004 was most likely the last honest election that we will see unless drastic action is taken against acorn and other organizations that promote voter fraud. Since demorats are in control there is little chance for this to happen. God Help the USA
