White House communications director Anita Dunn fired back at criticism from TV commentator Glenn Beck on Friday, saying that a Mao Tse-tung quote Beck took issue with was picked up from legendary GOP strategist Lee Atwater.
"The Mao quote is one I picked up from the late Republican strategist Lee Atwater from something I read in the late 1980s, so I hope I don't get my progressive friends mad at me," Dunn told CNN.

Well what ever the cause, it is definitely in the vid clip from Beck. Perhaps, in your Fox clip she had just taken her medicine and so was free of obvious symptoms - how else would you explain the sudden emergence of the problem in Beck’s clip?
For the record I did not see the Fox clip and do not want to see any more of that horrid face.
I can’t watch her anymore. I was creeped out by that Mao clip and the way she talked...
so I didn’t watch the whole clip of her when she was bashing fox.
She really does do the same thing Heath Ledger was doing in Batman.
I watched that show on where Beck showed Anita Dunn talking and it was so gross how she kept licking her lips. She was like a snake. Yuck, something is really wrong with her.
“There they go again” charging up that index finger to violently point at anyone in their general direction. They are without blame, and resposibility. Adults who never grew up, who were taunted by thier peirs, mentally abused by thier parents, the child with the sign on thier back that sez “kick me I like it” Did I leave any excuses out?

I was hoping someone would comment on the two-tone hair. Really weird looking, as if she had on a gray wig an the glasses pushed it back, exposing the brown. Otherwise, she’s quite the beauty ;)
Anita Dunn was also Bill Bradley’s Communications Director and “top strategist” in 1999 and 2000.
My suspicion is that she was as Marxist then in her beliefs ... and likely less-guarded with her statements.

Well, I suppose, that even though Anita Dunn is a front-line
Storm Trooper
for Obama...even she could be telling the truth for once.
(Although, since the Clinton Years, my consistent recollection is
that Democrats tell lies...even when they’d AND THE COUNTRY would be
better served by telling the truth.)
If Anita Dunn’s contention regarding the quote and Lee Atwater are
independently validated, I’ll be shocked.
One time in the past three decades when a Democrat told the truth...
without being put under oath in a courtroom.
(I still think Ms. Dunn either mis-remembered or just plain lied about this.
Lee Atwater was a Good Old Boy from The South...his favorite quote
from Mao would be more along the line from Mao’s Little Red Book:
“Power comes from the barrel of a gun.”)
Its is amazing that our country sent its young men around the world to fight communists, in both Vietnam and Korea. Now we have them running the white house and that includes Obama. Like he said, “judge me by the people I surround myself with”.
I want the certificate proving she graduated from elementary school.
The problem with the Obama regime is that their liars lie like little kids - you know the I didn’t eat the cookies, while holding one in their hands. What a bunch of pikers. They should bring Bill Clinton in as their “lying czar”.

Well, I do try to watch Beck every day...whether at 4PM CST or
the re-run at (IIRC) 1AM CST.
But I still pray I’ll be watching LIVE the 4PM CST broadcast when
that RED phone rings...and Beck’s assistant says “Wrong Number”.
Because, as crazy at they are...NOBODY will be calling from the White House!
As another poster pointed out earlier, wouldn't she have quoted Atwater and not her hero dung in the speech?
