The plot thickens on the media’s character-lynching of Rush Limbaugh. Of the four stories ran on ESPN.com about Limbaugh’s bid for the Rams (October 6, October 12, October 15, and another October 15) none of them mention that NFL Players Association Executive Director DeMaurice Smith served as council to Attorney General Eric Holder and member of Barack Obama’s transition team.
The October 12 article references Smith’s anti-Limbaugh email meant to garner opposition against the radio host’s bid. The report refers to Smith only as the executive director of the NFLPA. Despite the fact that Smith’s opposition was based on Limbaugh’s political commentary, the report failed to mention that Smith’s political connections (including those to whom he donated thousands of dollars) have a vested interest in Limbaugh’s discrediting.

Frankly, I welcome the escalation here. Rush isn’t Joe the Plumber. He has resources and brains and insight. His audience will grow. He can see the stitches on the pitched ball far better than the turds trying to discredit him. He will pick his shot; but it won’t be a “shot”. It will be a trap.
Dare I say "Chicago style politics."
Will Rush roll over on this one and be cleared off the battlefield? This is just a warning shot from Obama's Mob.
We can only imagine what plans this administration had or have for the sports industry. Everything Obama has touched has been fundamentally changed and not for the good of America.

Son, just pay close attention to how all this plays out. For those who are so impressed by “Chicago Style Politics” and “Saul Alinsky” are going to learn some very hard lessons over the next few years.
Rush's only chance is to keep a high profile. If he sinks down he can be pushed aside under any number of pretexts. Only by standing tall can he make it clear that if he is knocked down, it is by a deliberate act against him.
I have an idea. Rush was controversial 11 years ago when he supposedly said whatever is alleged.
1. Why wasn’t brought up then? Would it not have been just as offensive then?
2. It is a lie, fabrication, falsehood and a complete fairytale or there would be an audio tape and we could hear for ourselves this fictitious statement.
3. There are some real liars out there who have no interest in the truth. NONE. They are cheap hustlers, who produce What?

Wonder if that opens the Players Association up to discovery as well as potentially anyone he talked to in Democratic front groups. Might even go directly to the WH. They are arrogant enough
