I think people are way behind. I don’t think they plan on ever leaving office, because we will be under dictatorship.
How often are we seeing news from other countries? Hardly any. How about what’s happening in the rest of the states next to you? Or across the country?
People are starved for news because we are not getting it. we get the same fluff stories over and over and over, every day...
They can start collecting the money right away, years before anything is put into practice. It’s about getting their hands on a new pot of money.....
They have probably been assured that the formality of elections will not interfere with their careers. The election process, like every other American instititution, has been sold to the highest bidder. You will NOT be able to vote out the oligarchs.

Maybe not. Lots of dems are acting like 2010 is in the bag, or irrelevant.
The Democrats apparently aren't worried about losing elections. They have confidence in the vote fraud machine (ACORN, etc) they have constructed to steal elections. The 2000 election was the first national test of this machine and it almost worked. It has now been proven to be effective since the last few elections, eg. the Coleman vs. Franken election. They think it will work again so the Democrats are not afraid to impose any of their criminal communistic plans on America.
I'M afraid they are NOT worried about their careers because they also have another nuclear option to enact just before the election.
I have never seen them to so disregard what the public reaction will be to what they do. It worries me that they know they will continue in power - a nice little national emergency that required Martial Law would shut down any election...
WE can't get our heads around such a scenario, but we've seen enough by now to WAKE UP to who and what we are dealing with.
Think they wouldn't do it? It's been done countless times by just such tyrants down through history. We'd better not put all our eggs in the Nov 2010 basket. It may be too late by then.

I've never seen so many truly dangerous/disastrous to the Republic items pushed through all at the same before. Unfortunately, I am not old enough to remember first hand how Johnson got his "Great Society" passed.
Executive summaries:
The first Obama porkulus bill has had only a tiny fraction of the money spent (most of it will kick in just in time for the 2010 midterms) and there are trial balloons being floated for a second one. The economy remains In Big Trouble. Unemployment has exploded like a cancer all across the country (there was a great graphic of this posted last week). The White House is dealing with friends and enemies in a fashion that makes Dick Nixon (who was threatened with impeachment for it) look like a piker. The budget deficit for this year alone reaches 13 figures.
What is there not to be proud about this administration?
