Here in Green Bay, it'll be hard. The Packers are part of our community here, more popular than Sunday church services.
The real losers of this though, is going to be the Rams football team, their fans, and the city of St. Louis. Checketts group was a way to keep the franchise in St. Louis and maybe renovate the Edward Jones Dome. I don't know if the Soros rumors are true or not, but without Rush's money it'll be hard to find a partner with a hundred million dollars burning a hole in their pocket. I think the team is going to move and all those workers and fans will be left in the dark, while the leftist vultures who took down the bid will move on to another carcass.

Nope, I’m not in that whole Gators/Canes/Noles fan-boy thing. I can live without football. I’ll miss the NFL, but they’ve ruined it for me, so I’m better off not watching.

Done and done, I’d stopped supporting the NFL sham a few years ago. I’m not giving a thin dime to these hoodlums.

College football yes. NFL, NO! What racist crybabies hope the owners have the guts to make the players goe out on strike, and stay out. Maybe the ONE can then own or bailout the NFL.

That lying weasel Robert Irsay has been dead for a few years. Don’t think I will get over the Colts being taken out of Baltimore in the middle of the night after he said he would not.

I'm a 40 year Redskins fan, and after years of being on the season ticket waiting list, I just throw out every invite I get now that there's any available. I won't buy coffee if there's a Redskins helmet on the cup. To hell with Dan Snyder and his lapdog Vinny.

We haven't heard anyone on the right say Mr. Olbermann's nightly ad-hominem rants should disqualify him from hanging around the NFL.Well, to be honest, I say that all the time and I'm not alone in doing so.

I have been say the same thing all afternoon. I wish conservatives would ban together just this one time into a group and STOP anything to do with the NFL. DO NOT BUY A PRODUCT FROM A SINGLE ADVERTISER! DO NOT WATCH A GAME!” Seconded.
The funny thing is, neither Al Sharpton nor Jesse Jackson are even football fans. Let us conservatives stop buying anything whatsoever from the NFL, and lets see where exactly where the NFL get with their race baiting crap. It may be time for conservatives to grow a pair for a change

What began as a normal business dealMr. Limbaugh's participation in a group bidding to buy the St. Louis Rams NFL franchisehas degenerated into an unfortunate flap whose repercussions could WILL extend well past Sunday afternoon football.

re: It'll be easy for me
Well, being a Tampa Bay Bucs fan I haven't had the guts to watch any of there games for over two years now. Is it too late to attribute that to my disdain for the way Rush has been treated. Do I have to attend a few games just so I can quit supporting them. Sorta like subscribing to the New York Times just for the joy of being able to call up and cancel?

But the difference is that conservatives have not brought pressures upon NBC or anyone else to force Keith Olbermann off the air for those games. Whereas in the case of Rush, liberal forces were brought to bear which resulted in Rush being declared unfit to own an NFL team.
I think we all know that liberals will complain about conservatives, and vice versa. But in the Rush case, we see the liberals using their power to force him away from the NFL. Have conservatives ever used such force to get rid of a liberal from a prominent position? Maybe they have but I sure can’t think of anything like this happening to a liberal.
