Jack Tapper (ABC News White House Correspondent) is reporting on Twitter that Anita Dunn says she was repeating an old Lee Atwater (deceased conservative political operative—famous for the Willie Horton ads in ‘88) joke about Mao. I have never heard of such a joke and I saw the video clip where she appears to be deadly serious.
I think she knows this looks really bad or she wouldn’t claim to be joking. She was was serious when she said Mao said “you fight your war and I’ll fight mine”. Glenn needs to stay on top of this story. I got the impression Tapper bought her excuse, but I’m sure he hasn’t seen the actual video.
I know. You want to turn the channel and somehow you just can’t because you know what he is saying seems almost the difference between life and death.

The thing is...I think BHO thought HE got a mandate to take over America. Problem is...they did not count on the will of the real American people. I remember Beck had some objections - policy matters.
I did not remember Beck understanding then, late 2007 to November 2008, the depth of BHO’s radical past connections.
