Honduras .

The Dialogue Guaymuras suffered a setback yesterday after the international media that they had already an agreement on the return of former President Manuel Zelaya.

That, in general, prevented the talks between the committees of Roberto Micheletti, interim president, and Zelaya, continue in the afternoon as scheduled.

Even so, the negotiators, seeking to end the political crisis afflicting the country since June 28 when he overthrew Zelaya, kept alive hopes of achieving a satisfactory agreement.

"The gains are maintained at 90%," said Vilma Morales, spokeswoman for the commission's negotiating Micheletti.

The Chronicle

At noon, Morales when both committees left the tables to query Micheletti Zelaya said he was optimistic to "conclude the dialogue process ahead of schedule."

Victor Meza, of the commission of Zelaya, was expressed almost in the same sense in saying that they had a consensus document and only had to submit to Zelaya and Micheletti.

Neither Meza Morales offered no details of that agreement. Both contended that it would be disrespectful to both parties providing such information.

Meza said that "we have achieved consensus on a single text in paragraph six (which involves around Zelaya to power) ... I can not discuss the content of the text because if I fail the compromise could embarrass the other party".

But international cables and learned that the agreement provided for the return of Zelaya, inundated 18 crimes on its intention to impose a national constituent assembly and form of government reform.

This information even showed that Zelaya would be restored after 29 November, ie, at a later date for general elections.

This information hindered the negotiations, so Micheletti commission held a press conference from Government House to announce that the dialogue will resume today.

Morales asked the press responsible therefore plays an important and decisive role in the positive development of this agreement.

She was clear in denying that there is an agreement on the return of Zelaya.

Earlier, President Micheletti ruled that this decision should be passed by Congress, more would pass by the Court.

Remember that was the legislature which approved the constitutional succession of Micheletti and dismissed Zelaya for his many crimes.

The stage for today

During the Tuesday and Wednesday, the commission discussed the return of Zelaya. Until yesterday morning it was thought that there was already agreement. However, the picture changed in the afternoon.

Since then, the possibility that a third party to take power again took power. That would leave Zelaya abroad, perhaps in exile, and Micheletti be an ordinary citizen.

On Tuesday, former President Zelaya spoke for the first time about the possibility of being reinstated in office, but instead requested that all those who participated in the "coup" were sent to the ICC.

It was unclear who would assume the reins of the country, although several names are shuffled. Remember that Zelaya proposed a deadline for completing this agreement and expires today at midnight of the night, said Meza, one of the negotiators of Zelaya.

It is also expected that the commission re-sign the minutes of yesterday was repealed at the request of the commission of Zelaya.

This act is referred to the involution of the events of 28 June.

Until yesterday morning, both committees had achieved consensus on forming a national unity government, that the Armed Forces of Honduras to pass the address of the Electoral Court from 29 October and the elections.

It also includes the establishment of a truth commission to investigate what happened and what led to the events of 28 June (which was repealed at the request of the Zelaya) and a commission monitoring the agreement.

* Chronology:

28 June. President Manuel Zelaya is removed from office.

7 October. He settled Guaymuras dialogue to find a solution.

15 October. Is the deadline imposed by Zelaya to have a final agreement.

Nothing yet

President Roberto Micheletti warned yesterday that the force does not reach an agreement.

The president spoke in those terms after the international media, reporting on an agreement that would restore to Manuel Zelaya in the presidential chair.

Earlier, Micheletti said "are calling it the Congress that determines whether or not he can return, but this is a legal matter, is definitely the Supreme Court.

In a statement, the government Micheletti said that "until now there is no final agreement on this point and" tomorrow (today) negotiating teams will resume the dialogue. "

Micheletti showed optimism about the results of the Dialogue Guaymuras, however, he interpreted that these publications are part of the pressures that made Zelaya to return to power.

this decision should be passed by Congress, more would pass by the Court.

Encouraging that the people who carefully considered zelaya's crimes, and had him removed, have a say here. They carefully followed their law (I read the decent US brief on the subject), and presume they would continue to do so. The only thing that was possibly done wrong was to zip a Honduran citizen out of the country, so perhaps the agreement is how he can return to Honduras (well, at least get out of his current safehouse) legally and unmolested... as a plain citizen.

Hopefully the Hondurans have learned from the NORKs and the Iranians how to negotiate with Zero and his minions. Just pretend to listen, nod the head, "go home to confer", drag feet, drag feet, drag more feet until negotiations are trivial.

Whoever wrote this doesn’t know English as a first language.

Or a second.

Or a third.

It reads like the little letters in the alphabet soup.

Hang in there HonCitizen.

It is the hope of most Americans that Zelaya not be returned to power. Continue to Fight for Freedom!
