From ksfo.com -

A Conservative Welcome Party for President Obama!

President Obama will be in San Francisco THIS THURSDAY, October 15th at the Westin St. Francis Hotel to fundraise at a reception and dinner. Let's give him a proper Conservative welcome and protest the President and his liberal agenda! Hot Talk 560, KSFO is encouraging everyone around the Bay Area to converge across the street from the Westin St. Francis in Union Square, from 4-8pm to let President Obama know the Conservative movement in Ultra-Liberal San Francisco needs to be taken seriously!

Wear your best patriotic outfits, bring American Flags, signs (but remember to keep it clean and stay on point with things like Health Care Reform, Taxes, etc. No references to Obama's Birth Certificate issue or comparisons to Hitler, as they are never media-friendly). Remember to stay on Powell Street sidewalk, opposite the hotel's entrance and do not go in the street. There is no amplified sound allowed, but bullhorns under 10 watts are OK. Most importantly, be polite, respectful, thank the police and keep tempers under control no matter how angry you get, as there is sure to be opposition there.

TRANSPORTATION

BART: Get off at the Powell Street Station and walk 2 blocks up Powell Street to Union Square and the Westin St. Francis Hotel.

Driving: Parking is available at the Union Square Garage, directly underneath Union Square and nearby at the O'Farrell Street Garage. Enter on Geary Street, across from Macy's.

If you attend, please stay aware of your surroundings! The Lefties (Code Pink, World Can't Wait, etc.) are expected to out in force as well, and we know how "full of peace" they are.

This will be a super weird one..! I was at the Nob Hill one against Clinton after he started bombing Serbia.

The left was just as angry as the right, and there were very few problems.

You have to understand that in SF, the left is sooooo far left that they’re PERPETUALLY angry —it really does not matter how much he gives them, it will never be enough.

My prediction is that there will be fewer right/left clashes than you might expect.

Wish I could have made it.

Here's the latest news:

President Obama Arrives in SF

KCBS - ‎4 minutes ago‎
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) -- President Barack Obama has touched down in San Francisco Thursday evening, his first visit since being elected into office.
A bit of a snip:

Security was already been beefed up at San Francisco International Airport, prior top Air Force One landing.

SFO spokesman Mike McCarron said the measures are unprecedented for the thoroughfare.

"The Secret Service or White House or both, we're not sure which has requested the FAA to put what's called a temporary flight restriction for private aircraft the entire time the Air Force One is parked here," said McCarron.

Protesters have also gathered in Union Square across from the hotel.

Barricades have been in place for hours as groups are expected to protest anything from health care reform, ending the war in Afghanistan and reforming international trade agreements.

Oh, that's right, the codepinkers are going to be there!

No wonder The One is all wee wee'd up. LOL

The Sacramento TV news I watched last night covered this bi-flavored presiduncial protest with excellent bi-partisan coverage!!! They especially covered that "big breasted conservative women's group" member who kept saying: "I sure hope he comes out here and talks to me, cause I've got a hellava lot of things to tell him!!!"

Surprised there's not more comment on this thread! It reminded me of the time we went from the KSFO event at Ft. Mason up to the Mark Hopkins, (or that other famous hotel) and joined the leftist in FReepin Bill Cliton at that national newspaper editor's git together... What fun that was!!!

Got any good stories to share with us about this one???
