Neither of these two are appropriate or qualified to address the topic.

Well Lindsey Graham is way to the left of mainstream Republicans and that puts him way, way out in left field in a room full of Conservatives.

Ron Paul is a libertarian and therefor very conservative on freedom and economic issues. I think he is a little short-sighted and even a bit naive when considering the threat that our enemies (primarily Iran and the Taliban) pose to the security of the United States. On the subjects of tax policy, inflation, budgeting, deficits Ron Paul has no equal in either house of Congress or in the Obama Administration. He knows his stuff.

So, if you have to vote, go for Ron Paul. He will cause much less aggravation in the long run than the quasi-Democrat Graham.

Yeah, it's pretty discouraging. I've been all up and down on these Paul threads for 2 years that he is growing the GOP with new libertarian-minded voters.

Of course, it's easier for these people to laugh at Paul only to curse and complain when his voters stay home or vote 3rd party.

It was Bush’s deviations from conservatism (I don’t consider nation-building neocons in the same category as conservatives) that alienated the public against the GOP.

I don't either. I am as against neocons as I am against liberals/progressives. Please give me back my beloved US constitution and leave me alone.

It wasn’t Ron Paul for any of those things. Ron Paul has zero, I repeat, ZERO leadership skills. The majority of conservatives along with independent Americans will not be motivated by this loon.

Great. He can be a clerk in the OMB. Fits him perfectly.

That's just like, your opinion, man.

Rep. Bachmann disagrees:

It's Ron Paul's world, we can only read about it

I have to agree on your post. Paul is a genius with economic policy, and no he isn't gungho on war, but he would do what he had to do, if he had to do something. He would also build the fence! I would much rather be on Paul's team than the RINO team, any day of the week. He would follow the Constitution to the letter.

Grahamnesty just got finished bashing a whole lot of town hall attendees, and Republicans at that, because he didn't like the answer he got when he asked a woman who she voted for. He is a RINO at BEST! I pray to God SC votes him OUT.

If we all had to chose between Ron Paul and Lindsey Graham in a primary election, a clear majority of us would choose Ron Paul.

Graham is not a conservative. In fact when you compare Graham to a conservative senator like DeMint, Graham looks just about like a democrat. If Graham votes to raise energy taxes during the coldest winter in the last decade, then he deserves to caucus with the Democrats.

Great. He can be a clerk in the OMB. Fits him perfectly.

So does Secretary of the Treasury or Chairman of the Federal Reserve. Paul may have his faults but in the areas of Government where we are just getting killed he is the expert. We are over-taxed.The Government is running huge deficits. The National Debt is running out of control and the government wants to pick your doctor for you. It's time to kick out the socialists and put in some adults who will step on the brakes instead of the accelerator. Ron Paul would certainly do that. Maybe not as President. I'll take Sarah Palin for that job. But for financial advice Paul is the guy.

Well put. I believe he won’t run again, due to his age, but I sure would like to see him in Treasury or as Economic adviser/Secretary of Finance.

Nowhere will you find me as a member of the GOP. I'm a conservative capitalist. I vote for people who give me the best opportunity to maintain that within the guidelines of our Constitution. That requires defending our nation as #1 priority and defending ourselves individually as #1a.

I owe my opinions to nobody except me.

You apparently are more interested in controlling a political party, certainly an artifial notion at best, corrupt and statist at worst.
