Remember, she spent years in isolation. If she can make a few bucks selling her story and making appearances so that she and her kids can be secure, Im all for that! Particularly since she didn't go to school past when she was kidnapped, has no diploma, and probably has no work skills.

Her spirit is, simply put, impressive. I wish her love, support, and happiness. God knows, she deserves it. Amen!

-——No work skills ??
Kidnap victim Jaycee Dugard worked regularly in her accused abductor’s print shop, forging a reputation as a model employee who was known to customers as “Allissa,” reports CNN. Polite and professional, Jaycee greeted store visitors, created graphic designs, and emailed customers using a Yahoo account created under Phillip Garrido’s name. “She was always good at getting us what we wanted,” said former customer Ben Daughdrill. “You got the feeling she was doing all the work.”(Newser, Aug 31, 09

I agree with downtown. She is a survivor and found a way to deal with the situation she lived in. I hope that the money she got from the exclusive photos helps her build a good life with her children.

The picture looks very realistic. The police did a very good job in my opinion.
