So is the Obama admin going to apologize for offending yet another friend? The perfect question. Will it ever be answered?

HonCitizen,
I recall Obama stating the day of Zelaya’s removal [or the day after the midnight escort] that it was an ‘illegal coup’. IIRC, he was in the WH oval office or some other formal looking room.
At the time, I was shocked that he used the word ‘illegal’. Very imprudent. Hilliary used the term ‘coup’, but tried to hedge or temporize the response. Put her in a difficult position as Barry had already blabbed the ‘illegal coup’ statement.
Anyone else out there recall it this way?
Hip, hip, hooray, BTW, now that the UN has figured out the truth. Probably Zelaya was too nutty acting for them to continue supporting him and his farcical allegation that his removal was unconstitutional.

So, Obama is going against his buds in the UN? What a maverick! Ooh, there goes that tinkle down my leg.

Obama’s treatment of Honduras is part of his vast array of accomplishments for which he received the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize. He can’t be apologizing for those accomplishments can he?

Yes, I do. He can try to pin this oh Hillary but the transcripts are out there and Rush, and maybe Beck, will be sure to use them against him on this issue.

"The conclusion of the report clearly says that the removal of President Zelaya was constitutional. This confirms that there was no coup and strengthens the position of President Barack Obama, who never rushed to judge the situation in Honduras, as did Secretary of State Hillary Clinton who rushed to condemn the Honduran people, pressed by foreign ministers the OAS, "he said.I seem to recall that obamma and hillary did rush to judgement on this.

I want to be fair with Obama in 1 topic; he didmt rushed to declare it oficially as a military coup. Our media jumped right in, calling it a coup.

The UN is saying that the report from a consultant isn't their official stance.

So has Honduras officially declared today “Jonathan Bornstein Day”? ;)
(For those who don’t know, Jonathan Bornstein scored a late goal for the USA last night against Costa Rica, which clinched a World Cup Berth for Honduras)
