The Birther queen has been slapped with a five-figure fine for wasting the judicial resources of the Middle District of Georgia, where shed filed one of her numerous lawsuits demanding that President Obama prove his citizenship before deploying soldiers to Iraq and Afghanistan. The judgment, which calls Taitzs case and tactics delusional:
"Counsel Orly Taitz is hereby ordered to pay $20,000.00 to the United States, through the Middle District of Georgia Clerks Office, within thirty days of the date of this Order as a sanction for her misconduct in violation of Rule 11 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure."
The entire document, and some key excerpts, after the jump.
Judge Clay Land makes the toughest statement about Taitzs antics here:
"The Court finds that counsels conduct was willful and not merely negligent. It demonstrates bad faith on her part. As an attorney, she is deemed to have known better. She owed a duty to follow the rules and to respect the Court. Counsels pattern of conduct conclusively establishes that she did not mistakenly violate a provision of law. She knowingly violated Rule 11. Her response to the Courts show cause order is breathtaking in its arrogance and borders on delusional. She expresses no contrition or regret regarding her misconduct. To the contrary, she continues her baseless attacks on the Court."

For what? Asking for proof that someone is eligble? She is a citizen and is entitled to know.
Ouch. 20K is a lot of root canals.
Now ... why would you say THAT ?
Orly responded by telling the judge to “shove it”
I wonder how many judges will be willing to take any future cases from her based on this reaction?
She’s been hollering for months now that she has Obama’s birth certificate, yet never manages to turn it over to a judge.
I can connect the dots.
“For what? Asking for proof that someone is eligble? She is a citizen and is entitled to know.”
I’m with you. We’re all entitled to know, yet insults abound and no proof offered. Land’s decision is no surprise. I’m going to wait and see regarding the case pending in Carters court.
And who is surprised? None of this will be allowed to go forward.
What about her hooters?
I think what will be more interesting of a result is what comes of the complaint by Capt. Connie Rhodes against Orly. A fine is just money, I’m sure someone will donate that to her, but the client’s complaint could have legal consequences.
The citizens are peons and The Constitution is a memory. These judges are scum.
No, for bad faith, deliberate violations of the law, breathtaking arrogance, delusions, willful misconduct, and baseless attacks on the court. Did't you read the article?
Pretty frustrating.
No, for "asserting claims and legal positions that are not well-founded under existing law or through the modification , extension, or expansion of existing law." Also for "using the courts for a purpose unrelated to the resolution of a legitimate legal cause of action."
Of course, accusing the judge of all sorts of things, including a secret meeting with the Attorney General Holder, didn't help. I mean, she said that because he owns some Microsoft stock, and they're "aligned both politically and economically" with Obama, that he was biased and should recuse himself.
And you sure deserve an illegal alien and usurper that in a short future will force you to raise your right hand in admiration like another foreign tyrant was able to force his will on 62 million cool aid drinkers in Europe. Enjoy your choosing of your fuhrer!!!
I hope a tree falls on you.
