After Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty told us to be quite about the Nobel Peace he fell off my list. He has that McCain kind of mind that he thinks he can tell us what to say and how to act.

The fact he is attracting McCain people tells me he is toast.

That’s enough reason for me to avoid this candidacy. Just say “no” to Pawlenty 2012.

..the Republican establishment is marshaling forces to counter Sarah Palin. They want her out of the way and off the charts--so they can lose again in 2012...

Sarah not running would be HUGE disappointment as there are no other top candidates that are conservative - just more RINO inspired followers.

I'll just buy more ammo and vote for a real conservative ( write in or not) before I will take another spoon fed compromising sob.

We are at a turning point.

Immediately following the swearing in of Sarah Palin, we will have a conservative third party.

She’ll switch on 01/21/2013.

Great Pumpkin, 2012 :-)

It’s just that we waited and waited and waited for a conservative champion last time and it didn’t happen. Instead we chewed each other up. People should remember that Reagan ran for President three times before eventually winning. He didn’t just rise from the Pumpkin Patch to lead conservatives against those squishy RINOs and their “country clubs”.

Reps. Michele Bachmann, John Kline and Erik Paulsen will help Pawlenty host his PAC’s first fundraiser, at Capitol City Brewing Company near Union Station.

That will cost Michelle Bachmann some prestige among conservatives, but maybe she needs to do it to maintain her support in Minnesota.

Expect to hear from RINO whiners that all we're doing is to help elect more Democrats.

For me, why elect "Democrat Lite" when you can have the real thing? It may take a few election cycles, but if that's what it takes to empty the RINOs in the swamp, so be it.

There's way too much glee and lip-smacking coming from the RNC. I'm with Rush when he says "it's not enough to vote against someone, you've got to be able to vote for someone."

If I was running the RNC, I'd be focusing my energy for 2010 on the "low hanging fruit", i.e. the Democrats in majority Republican districts. You won't need to bust the bank with this strategy, and allow you to save your bucks for 2012.

There’s a pattern where the establishment boys try to get behind their CINO candidate early, establish money commitments, and force out conservative challengers.

That's exactly what's happening here...!!!

Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R) has enlisted a number of GOP strategists from John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign,

I'm sure they'll serve him well as they did President McCain ;-)

I think a 3rd party would need to run under the GOP brand until they prove viability. .

That is terrific idea. A Third Party cannot succeed. It would be terrific to see someone like Palin come out in a major announcement with like minded leaders and state flatly that the GOP is a damaged party, that many within its ranks have fallen prey to the lure of big government, corruption, debt and spending, but that a 3rd party is never the answer. She should also make it clear to the American people that we have to save the GOP because the Democrat party is wholly owned by big government, corruption, debt spending, and moral decay . She could then announce her intention to form a "team" within the GOP that will work for traditional American values, limited government, common sense law, and restoration of what made America great. Like the Contract With America, candidates nationwide could choose to align themselves with her "team" They could run candidates in the primaries and extend their financial support to "team" members in the general elections. They could make a concerted effort for "team" members to take over the RNC, stat party leaderships, and county parties. The struggles within the GOP would become transparent and once and for all people would have to take sides. It would be great for the GOP and great for America.

I don't think we waited and waited so much as we let early primary states, who allowed crossover voting, select our candidate. The Republican Party has done nothing, to my knowledge, to stop this type of action. I haven't forgotten how enthralled the press was (supposedly) with McCain, they were absolutely ecstatic when he was nominated...they had pulled it off, a Dem lite running against a hard left Dem, their dream was coming true. If ever there was a “moderate” it was McCain and he lost big time. Heck, even I didn't want to vote for him, had to hold my nose, but many people evidently refused to compromise their beliefs to the same degree. We need a STRONG conservative!

For whatever reason, Fred Thompson, the conservative Great Pumpkin of the day didn't get it done. I see the same thing happening in 2012 and fully expect lots of Democrat money funneled into conservative third-party movements.

I want a man’s man not a white bread and mayonaise wuss.

Mega Dittos!

No back up positions

When you were hungry the Americans brought you food
When you were sick the Americans brought you medicine
When you had tsunamis and earthquakes and landslides the Americans came
And when you were in danger the Americans left the safety
of their own homes to come and protect you.
I WILL NEVER APOLOGIZE FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

Get ready for four more years of obama. The Country Club Republicans will will die and go to hell before they allow Sarah Palin to get the Republican nomination.
