Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R) has enlisted a number of GOP strategists from John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign, another sign that he’s planning a run for president in 2012.

Among those interested in getting to know Pawlenty are Douglas Holtz-Eakin and Randy Scheunemann, two top policy advisers from the McCain presidential campaign who have joined the Minnesota governor’s host committee.

Pawlenty was my governor until late last year when we moved I think very highly of him.

What kind of metrosexual douchebag hyphenates his last name? If that’s the kind of support Pawlenty “enjoys” then he can return to much-deserved obscurity sooner rather than later. Maybe Steve Schmidt will support him.

I sense a third party coming. It should be evident that following the McCain crowd is not the way to go. I suggest some conservative Republicans get together and start a movement to derail this impending disaster.
