Openly gay Congressman Barney Frank says a gay rights march on Washington this weekend is "a waste of time at best."
Representative Frank said Sunday's National Equality March was "an emotional release." But he said directly lobbying representatives and senators would be much a more effective way to achieve change.
Frank said the only thing marchers are putting pressure on "is the grass."
Barney Frank sat on my jeep and now I can’t find it.
After the tea party, and the media cover up of its size, all other marches in DC are petty, and losers like Barney know it.
“he said directly lobbying representatives and senators”
He’s lookin’ for some new members! Errrr,,, dates,,,,,uh,,,,,,,
(Frank also sez he’d prefer homos and lezbos who disagree with him be forbidden the right to vote.)
“Frank said any gay person who needed to be reminded that the community faces strident opposition is simply out of it.
I wouldnt let them vote, the congressman said, before adding, I guess you have to let them vote because its in the Constitution, but I wish you didnt.

>>Rep. Frank says DC gay rights march misses mark<<
He bared his butt and they missed it!
The reason for “asking and telling” is finding “dates.” All the other reasons are just talk.
A regular Henny Youngman, that Barney...
LOL...for real
Why? Because it didn't march through his basement? :-p
Wow I don’t believe it! Someone could actually understand what Frank was saying?
That is big news.
The Constitutional concern that conservatives must have about BF’s possible views is how he views the role of the judiciary in demands being made for so-called “gay rights”.
I have no problem with anyone lobbying their Congressional representatives - that’s one part of what freedom of speech joined with the right to petition the government, concerning perceived grievances, is about.
But, if Frank agrees with many other liberals, and with the “gay” legal agenda in particular (as I suspect he does), that the judiciary can be used to skip the democratic process of writing and amending the Constitution, to achieve a political objective framed as a “right”, then Frank deserves to be opposed, all the time, if for no other reason than his willingness to used judges to rewrite the Constitution. We cannot always see this point clearly with Frank, since he does not have a voice or a vote in judicial nominations.
Is Mark Barney's new boy toy?
can we get an investigation of Barney please
That would be impossible. His a$$ is so large it is a physical impossibility to miss it. Unless the missile is incredibly small.
Bawney is consistent at least. Like all constituents gays can write their Congress critters and be happy with the canned form response they get back. Equanimity in arrogance.
I’m sure Mark was glad they missed him.
He's saying that because almost no one is going to show up. Gay's are a yawn - so "yesterday"...
