Perhaps FR might feature this concern at the top of their menu?
How will Obama's Health Reform proposals impact veterans 60 years and older who currently receive life sustaining treatment in such departments as oncology and cardiology via Tricare and hzd planned for Tricare For Life to fulfill the promise of our military service?
When the Democrats say they will cut waste from medicare are they talking about us -- military retirees?
Hi Racehorse. I think the most realistic assumption is that this band of commie thugs will screw the military ... active duty, retired, reserve, you name it ... at every possible opportunity.
I think that needs to be our line in the sand. If ostammer and his thugs cut elderly military (or any military) health benefits, I think it would be the right time and cause to .....uh..... get started.
Link???...
This administration views vets as potential terrorists. It would be in their interest to have the enemy die off ASAP.
We are always the first ones to have benefits cut.

TRL already approves only some drugs, while rejecting others that work simply because they are name brand. I'm trying to get them to pay their portion of my name brand synthroid, as the generic has nasty side effects like ulcers in your mouth and loss of your hair.
Generics may do the same work as name brands, but they have some things in them the name brand does not it seems, at least as far as synthroid an necessary hormone is concerned.

This option would help reduce the costs of TFL, as well as costs for Medicare, by introducing minimum out-of pocket requirements for beneficiaries. Under this option, TFL would not cover any of the first $525 of an enrollees cost-sharing liabilities for calendar year 2011 and would limit coverage to 50 percent of the next $4,725 in Medicare cost sharing that the beneficiary incurred. (Because all further cost sharing would be covered by TFL, enrollees could not pay more than $2,888 in cost sharing in that year.)
