Love that Global Warming.

If Al Gore's home was encased in ice next summer, ice that had never melted from the winter before, he'd still be talking about global warming.

We’re looking at lows in the 10-14 degree range this weekend. Snow in the mountains.

Really? Do you live in Florida or the North Pole?

won’t be that bad, highs in the 50s, lows in the 30s, not even 10 degrees lower than average.

That’s fahrenheit, not Celcius. And we’re 90 miles south of the Canuck border. Teh southern tip of Lake Pend Oreille is just a few miles away.

Can’t be either, because Florida has no mountains, and the North Pole is in deep water.

Howsumever, Miami just had a record temperature yesterday. Today doesn’t seem a bit cooler, either.

But I saw a bald face hornet nest within 2 feet of the ground so it won’t snow much as too busy being cold.

Lee is spotty. Thank goodness for us Philly fans he had a great outing yesterday. But you guys might have another shot at him and the story might be very different. May the best team win! You guys really put us away a couple of years ago. After the Phils went down then, I was rooting for you to go all the way.

Miami just had a record temperature yesterday.

Was that a record high, or a record low?

Thanks. I'll be rooting for the winner of our series against the Dodgers, who I think will take the other one.

2007 was an amazing, magical time here. Unfortunately, a long lay off after the Phillies series really cooled the Rockies down. Despite missing Holliday's bat, this year's team is much more solid and balanced - we're not relying on a hot streak to carry us.

I realize both teams are used to playing in cold weather at the beginning and end of the season, but what's predicted here this weekend sounds pretty awful.
