If you think it's cold now in Montana and the Dakotas, just watch what happens!
Friday, an even stronger surge of cold air will come down from the Arctic, sending temperatures plummeting to unprecedented levels for this time of year. In Montana and the western Dakotas, temperatures will not rise out of the 20s Friday and Saturday which is roughly 35 degrees below normal.

GO Rockies!
If Al Gore's home was encased in ice next summer, ice that had never melted from the winter before, he'd still be talking about global warming.
Liberals can ignore "grossly obvious facts when those facts are unwelcome... (See Orwell tagline)
We will bottom out at zero Friday night here in Helena. Snow is forcast for tonight and tomorrow. In other news, the Indians say we are in for a cold winter because white man is collecting more firewood than usual
Really? Do you live in Florida or the North Pole?
I had ~3” of snow on my Durango this morning before I drove to work.
I’m going on our annual octobrfest campint trip to the woods of NH this weekend.
I just checked the weather, It’s gonna be in the low 30’s for Sat and Sun night.
This sucks.....
won’t be that bad, highs in the 50s, lows in the 30s, not even 10 degrees lower than average.
That’s fahrenheit, not Celcius. And we’re 90 miles south of the Canuck border. Teh southern tip of Lake Pend Oreille is just a few miles away.
I liked the nerd test....
I am qualified....
going to be a eeal winter again, hellyeah!! I just rented a cabin on a chain of lakes in Mn for the winter. going to have to ice fish till I drop and sled untill the tracks fall off.God bless america
Were looking at lows in the 10-14 degree range this weekend. Snow in the mountains.
Really? Do you live in Florida or the North Pole?
Can’t be either, because Florida has no mountains, and the North Pole is in deep water.
Howsumever, Miami just had a record temperature yesterday. Today doesn’t seem a bit cooler, either.
But I saw a bald face hornet nest within 2 feet of the ground so it won’t snow much as too busy being cold.
Not gonna share your score? :-)
Meanwhile the Indians are stocking up on Cheyenne Champagne. (Walmart Hair spray) >;-D
Lee is spotty. Thank goodness for us Philly fans he had a great outing yesterday. But you guys might have another shot at him and the story might be very different. May the best team win! You guys really put us away a couple of years ago. After the Phils went down then, I was rooting for you to go all the way.
Was that a record high, or a record low?
Thanks. I'll be rooting for the winner of our series against the Dodgers, who I think will take the other one.
2007 was an amazing, magical time here. Unfortunately, a long lay off after the Phillies series really cooled the Rockies down. Despite missing Holliday's bat, this year's team is much more solid and balanced - we're not relying on a hot streak to carry us.
I realize both teams are used to playing in cold weather at the beginning and end of the season, but what's predicted here this weekend sounds pretty awful.
